In and out if you're seeing the NP instead of the doctor but just as thorough. Great help is your parking is validated.

As first time parents, we've both felt more than comfortable with Dr.K as he is soft spoken, patient, respectful and very knowledgeable. We definitely "clicked" with him, which was important to us as parents. I would highly recommend Dr. K to any friend or loved one. Another thing that I love about this practice is that they were able to squeeze us in, same day, for a concern we had with our son. Overall, staff is great and service is fantastic too!

Unfortunately, our most recent experience changed how we feel about the practice. We brought our daughter in because she had a persistent cough and ongoing nasal discharge. Since Dr. Mollock had retired and was only in once a week, we saw Dr. Washington instead. In our experience, each visit with Dr. Washington felt condescending (this was not our first time seeing her), and during this visit she told us it was allergies and sent us home. Less than 24 hours later, our daughter's condition worsened and we had to take her to urgent care. She was diagnosed with pneumonia. The urgent care provider indicated that it appeared she had been sick for a while and questioned why it had not been caught at the previous visit. When I called Gwinnett Pediatrics to express my concerns, Dr. Mollock called me back and invited us to bring our daughter back in so she could personally recheck her. Dr. Mollock confirmed the pneumonia diagnosis and advised us to continue the treatment plan provided by urgent care. A few weeks later, we received bills for both visits, including the follow-up visit that we were invited back for after what we believe was a missed diagnosis. When I contacted the office, they refused to reimburse or waive the charge. I was told they were standing by Dr. Washington, and when I asked for the issue to be escalated, I was told the refund decision would ultimately be up to Dr. Washington, who refused. I understand that medical visits involve professional judgment, but I do not believe it is appropriate to invite a family back for a recheck after a missed diagnosis and then bill them for that visit as if it were a normal follow-up. As much as we appreciate Dr. Mollock and the care she provided over the years, we will not be returning to Gwinnett Pediatrics.

I am only leaving a review only from my experience with the front desk woman at the Lawrenceville…read morelocation. Her attitude and her demeanor is beyond uninviting and unfriendly. She really makes the whole feel of the practice terrible. Which is not fair to the others because they were kind and willing to help. She had no problem displaying her awful demeanor. I will leave a review on my experience with the rest of the practice which I'm sure would be better but this woman deserved a one star all by herself. I came back to add more stars because the rest of the staff was so pleasant and quick and just very kind. Our MA was so good and had the best smile and handled me and my daughter with excellent speed and her communication skills were excellent. Our doctor, Dr Myons was so kind and patient and genuine. We love her! I got an ekg done it it was quick and done accurately. Our blood work was done too and that was also a pleasant experience especially for my daughter's first time getting blood drawn. The practice was clean and smelled wonderful, it's huge and everything was done so quick and there were no mistakes. The front office lady was a little better at the end but I just can't get over the first impression of her.. but overall I recommend this practice and this doctor!!!! Great job you guys!

Unfortunately, over time, the quality of service and overall patient consideration has significantly declined. Dr. Patel was the primary physician I saw at the beginning. However, as his patient load increased, the level of care and attention I experienced noticeably decreased. On a positive note, the African American female physician at this practice demonstrates excellent bedside manner and provides a much more attentive experience. One of my biggest concerns is the office's time management. There seems to be little regard for patients' time. On multiple occasions, I have waited approximately 20 minutes in the waiting room, followed by another 30 minutes in the exam room, only to be seen briefly for about 10 minutes. To make matters worse, prescriptions are sometimes not sent to the pharmacy as expected, creating additional inconvenience. Additionally, if you have follow-up questions regarding your care, you are required to schedule another visit and pay an additional co-pay. This creates the impression that the practice prioritizes revenue over patient care. Overall, while the location is convenient, the declining service, long wait times, and lack of follow-through have made this a frustrating experience.

Jill Overcash in particular is the best physicians I have ever met in any specialty. She is consistently up to date on the latest studies which is less common than you would think. She and the other doctors are very warm and kind towards the children, very evidence-based, and very adaptable to your child and their particular needs. They don't go overboard throwing medicine at your kids, but when they do prescribe something it is very carefully considered and tailored for your child. They did a great job with our kids when they were babies and now that they are 7 and 4 they are adapting to them as they grow up and face different health issues. Our family has been sick a lot each winter and they have always been very helpful. I can't say enough about their practice. The only downside I can come up with is just be on time. They run a tight ship and if you are more than a few minutes late you'll get rescheduled. It's for the collective good but it's frustrating when it happens. We drive from Decatur to see them and it's well worth it!

I've NEVER had to wait more than 10 minutes in the waiting room & am (normally) seen the same day if my child is sick & they have open availability. You can tell this establishment does not over / double book their patients. In the two years we have been coming, I've never seen more then 2 other patients, besides myself, in the waiting room. We have seen Dr.Overcash for all of my daughters well checks. She is so attentive, has a calm voice, full of patience & a passionate bedside manner. My daughter use to scream & cry EVERY single visit, she was THAT child you could hear from 3 doors down. Now, she sits there quietly, listens well & has 0 tears. I appreciate the amount of time Dr.Overcash spends with her patients & their parents. She wants you to understand throughly & takes the time to explain any & everything you bring forward. For anyone who is upset with "long wait times"...understand that these doctors are dedicated to your child's care & make sure you have what you need before you walk out the door. Be thankful to part of an establishment that still has the mentality of quality over quantity!
