Unfortunately I had a complication from the medication he prescribed and had to have surgery, but the entire process, surgery included he was so kind, gentle and reassuring. He never overstepped or tried a medication or plan that was outside of his personal comfort. Even though I have to see a specialist now, Dr. Fountain truly was the best GYN to help us along our journey to start a family and I'm very thankful for his entire office. Everyone is always so helpful and kind, and even when I got bad news they were so gentle with their words and their efforts to make sure I had everything I needed. Cannot recommend them enough.

My first visit was thorough and delightful--I was told the increased levels of hormones they prescribed and adding estrogen was going to protect my heart, brain and bones and help me lose some of my menopause weight. I came for my follow up and she did not have record in front of her that I had previously been on any hormones, so I had to start over explaining. She was short and did not follow up with the pelvic floor therapy she had told me she would find out about for me. Yellow flag. The kicker: this week, after being 6 years post-menopause, I started heavy dark brown bleeding. I had fallen the day before and was very worried this bleeding was related. I was scared and called, was transferred to the nurse's line--she never called me back. I ended up in Urgent Care who sent me to ER. After the stress and expense of that I was released--hours and many tests later they no idea what was going on. The next day I called and left another voicemail for the nurse, saying I wanted help, for somebody to tell me how to wean myself off these hormones. Never heard back. Later that day I started a "normal" period! I called yet again on Friday morning , this time to leave a voicemail message with the front desk that I wanted a medical professional to call me. I did not hear back. I have never in my life been treated this way by a medical facility, I cannot even believe it. There is absolutely no excuse.

I religiously had GYN visits for the last 10 years and had been tracking the fibroids. To have someone tell me they grew that much within 12 months sounded incredulous so I had a second opinion. As expected, I did not need a hysterectomy. Of course, I never went back. BEWARE! Also the AC was broken and they offered me water from a urine sample cup. Of course I said no thank you. Just an unprofessional practice all around. I was never so degraded by a healthcare practice in my life. I have happily moved on to a REAL GYN doctor.

Many people have contacted me via Cancer Websites to ask what they should do. In all cases I tell them to schedule a consultation and see if this is the right treatment for you. If you are closed minded and ONLY want standard assembly line care like they offer around the country, this isn't your place to be treated. They will teach you how important the mind is in reference to your health. They will give you treatments like Red Light therapy and PEMF. They will inject you with things like mistletoe and give you a lot of pills to take. If this bothers you that its not the standard "grab a IV bag of full dose chemo" maybe your mind isn't open to beating this disease. Just think if all of those other chemos didn't work like they didn't work for me; why wouldn't you try something different then the normal BIG PHARMA protocol? Its been over a year since I left the clinic. I am still cancer free. Is it because of the treatment? I have no idea; however, I know that if I would not have tried this my NORMAL Dr's would have just given me a pill to take and sent me on my way, as I am stage 4. At this center they don't treat you like a # and they tailor your treatment to your disease. They will answer all your questions. They will review your blood weekly. You will learn how the brain and the body are connected. You will meet a group of caring medical professionals that are there for you. And funny enough the other patients are marvelous and upbeat. I was probably the grouchiest patient they had :) They will suggest a plant based diet. I did that for the time I was there and failed at it after returning home. However I don't eat anything that comes from the sea or water now. That is because I now know about Methionine. I only drink water now. I occasionally will have a sangria; however, I don't eat processed food now. Keep in mind this is your life and you have to do what you can manage and not punish yourself for failing to do everything 100% perfect. Normal Doctors won't even discuss food or how your mind controls your health. My treatment was 3 months. I paid in full with a Credit Card as I have Kaiser Insurance which doesn't allow for out of network care. I did this over Thanksgiving 222 and Xmas and New Years. My schedule was only paused a day or 2 for Thanksgiving. It was 4 weeks there and 4 weeks off and then 4 weeks there. I didn't react well to the treatment I feel because my endocrine system was a disaster due to having 2 other FULL SPECTRUM chemo treatments. I had tons of nausea. I had pre-diabetic issues as chemo never allows me to lose weight it always makes me gain weight. I also don't lose my hair with chemo. I am an odd ball. Other FULL spectrum chemos damaged my joints to where I need joint replacements. I didn't that experience here. I was just full of nausea. It's not their fault I just tend to react differently to different things. The bottom line is if you are at all concerned that this is right for you, listen to Dr. Stegall's podcast on Spotify. Its called "Cancer Secrets Podcast." I binge listened to all of these in 1 week and I was sold on the fact this was the right place for me. In the end you need to decide what is right for you. For me this was the best decision I made for my long term health in regards to Cancer Treatment. PROTIP: Get with the center before you go to plan your housing and get a layout on what places are close by for food and other services. There is a good amount of shopping to the south of the center. Lots of places to eat. Tons of housing (we went with a 1 bdr apartment). Housing suggestions I should have taken from the Center to begin with and of course there is a whole foods close by.

I called the kind lady at the front desk, and asked if the doctor would see me today since I wouldn't make it there until 7PM. I showed up around 7:15, and was checked in no problem. I was called to the back and the nurse did my vitals. There was a portion that needed to be filled out by me and a portion for the doctor to fill out. Maybe I missed it, but I was not told to have my portion filled out before seeing the doctor. I usually filled it out with the doctor and go into detail about my medical history (not my first time getting this form filled out). Dr. Harvey came in and immediately scolded me for not having my portion of the form not completed. Made me feel like a complete burden by saying "that's not filled out? You do know we are closing right?" Like I didn't call before to see if I could still come AND pay to be serviced. I guess the nurse that came in before him was there for decoration, because he came in and asked for the exact same basic information. Shallow questions, had no desire to learn more detail about my medical history and wanted to make an uninformed decision without asking questions. I felt rushed and unimportant, and it was so painfully obvious that he wanted me to get out. Then he went out in the hallway with the nurse continually being rude, saying loudly "she didn't even put her name on this form" like I am not right there in the other room. Like he couldn't even be bothered to even ask for my name. He is one of those elderly people who think they can talk to younger people any kind of way, because I guarantee he would not talk to his peers or someone his own age like that. If he doesn't want to see people that late, maybe he should have it where the cut off is at 6PM or maybe not work that late so other people will have to deal with that. I was not treated like a professional who paid for a service. I definitely would not recommend and I will not be back ever.

I have never experienced a dental practice run this poorly…read more The constant staff turnover should have been my first clue. Appointments are routinely changed, communication is disorganized, and no one seems to know what anyone else is doing. One appointment that I believed was a routine cleaning somehow turned into a 2 1/2-hour ordeal with no advance explanation. On another occasion, I was prescribed medication that should have been started before my procedure, but the prescription wasn't called in. The event that finally destroyed my confidence happened when I went in to have a chipped tooth repaired. Instead of fixing the damaged tooth, they worked on the one next to it and ended up cracking the base of the original chipped tooth. When the anesthetic wore off, the pain became so severe that I ended up in the emergency room. The result was thousands of dollars in additional treatment that never should have happened. The administrative side has been just as bad. They billed me directly for services but never submitted the claim to my insurance, leaving me to sort out a mess that should have been handled by their office. After waiting weeks for permanent crowns, I took time off work for the installation appointment. While I was driving there, the office called to say they had an emergency patient and couldn't see me. They sent me to another office later that afternoon, requiring me to take even more time off work. When I arrived, the COO apologized and informed me there had been no emergency at all. The dentist at the original office had simply decided not to complete my appointment. Being told one thing by the scheduling staff and something entirely different by management was the final straw. I canceled every remaining appointment that day. The irony? A week later, the same office that mishandled my care, my insurance, and my time called to remind me about a cleaning appointment they apparently forgot I had already canceled. Everyone understands that emergencies happen. Mistakes can happen too. What is much harder to accept is repeated poor communication, questionable scheduling practices, billing errors, and a pattern of wasting patients' time while expecting them to simply accept it. I cannot recommend this practice to anyone looking for reliable, organized, or trustworthy dental care. Honestly I think the one star rating is gracious...

After reading some of the negative reviews, i was a little skeptical., but after meeting their staff, all of my fears were put to rest. The front desk staff was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. From the check in process to check out, i was kept informed of the entire visit. The dental hygienist, Stacia (i believe was her name), was amazing. She was young, vibrant and thorough with my cleaning. Even before i told her my issues, she had a list of questions to ask me (was i having jaw issues, grinding, any pains, etc.) I told her of some issues that i was having some issues, and she addressed them right away. After some small talk, she took a series of xrays. Typically, the contraption that dentists use are big, bulky and uncomfortable when they put it in your mouth. however, this wasn't so bad. in the awkward positions, she was gentle and took her time to make sure it was placed properly, and then took the xray quickly. afterwards, did the basic check on the gums, doing the typical 'poke and prod' and informed me of the areas that i had to work on. after that, we went to the cleaning. she was quick, thorough and was able to talk me through what she was doing the entire time. i used the mint toothpaste while doing the cleaning and it wasn't as nasty as some other flavors dentists have used in my past. Shortly afterwards, Dr. Dillon came into the room to do my check. I was absolutely stunned at how young, vibrant and happy she was. We had a lot in common, and I felt quite comfortable with her as soon as she walked in. She didn't seem overly serious and we were able to talk casually for a few minutes before doing the actual check up. After the check up was complete, she advised that i had a small cavity, and should get it filled. in addition, told me that i would need a dental nightgard, which i already knew (since i grind at night). Some great information was learned here, that most dentists get monies from the insurance companies then charge the patron the addtional monies that they don't receive. Here, they only take what the insurance has contracted to them. so, it will vary based on your insurances for your cleanings, cavities, fillings, etc. Overall, the facility was amazing, the staff was amazing and i would highly recommend this dentist practice to anyone and everyone i know.
