if I co give 0 stars I would. these guys absolutely butchered my car I had a mint 2011 mustang gt got rear ended took it to these guys and within a year my rear bumper started to fall off I took it back and they took one look my bumper claimed new damage was the cause of the rear bumper falling off. I still have the replacement bumper they claimed damage on the bottom of the bumper there's no damage come to find out my exhaust is still damaged I have major undercarriage damage that was hidden from me. I just felt the need to write a review about the folks at Gerber Collision in Cocoa Florida. I had some work done there back in 2019, the repaint of the passenger door, the paint started cracking last month. I drove by and spoke to the representative, and he told me the rework would be 100% covered by Gerber. He said we guarantee our work and they sure did. Instead of just repainting they dug in and found out it was better to replace the entire door. They did that, repainted the door and it looks awesome. Horrible experience! Stay away! They don't mean anything they say and give you the run around. I called on a Saturday and the lady said someone could be out that same day to fix my windshield. I told her that I had to discuss it with my brother(since he was paying for the repair) and call her back to confirm the appointment. Call them back and another rep answered telling me that they don't send techs out on Saturday but for being misinformed they will knock off some money. She then scheduled me for Monday morning between 9am-12pm and said the tech would be calling me on Monday around 9 am to confirm the ETA. At almost 10 am, still no call from anyone. So, I called at 10, a different lady answered and told me that the person who setup the appointment was a new employee and it would be impossible for the tech to come out that early in the day. She apologized then gave me a later time of 1-5 pm that same day. Around 1130, the tech called and said that it would be impossible to get the windshield glass and wanted to schedule for the next day. Plus, to make matters worse, they DIDN'T disclose that in the State of Florida, as long as you have Comp and Collison on your insurance(which I do), you could get the windshield replaced for free. They were gonna charge me for the windshield. Bottom line, from the time I scheduled service to the time I cancelled, I was lied to, given the run around and false promises. I called another company, and they told me that the windshield would be replaced the same day and at no cost to me! I only wish I would of called them before dealing this worthless company! If you hire these clowns, I hope you have a better experience with them than I did! read more
