They also extracted my data from the old laptop and put it on the new one and then upgraded the RAM and overall storage capacity of the Old Laptop. And if the motherboard really is the issue, Ascend should foot the bill for a replacement, not push the cost onto the customer after failing to handle the initial diagnosis properly. I came in expecting honesty and fair service, not upsells and surprise charges. Customers deserve transparency -- not to be told "free" diagnostics, then handed a bill and blamed hardware.
