DO NOT GO TO CELLPHONE CITY! I went there to get my screen replaced not even a month ago. Not only did I pay $200 for my new iPhone screen, but waited forever for it. However, that isn't the issue. I pulled out my phone from my purse today and found a crack across my screen. I pull of my OTTERBOX and TEMPERGLASS, and see that the screen is literally PEELING OFF! You can see the glue is showing and its about to pop off. I attempted to call and talk to the manager, but was told I would only get 20% off on something that was obviously not my fault, but theirs. Had shattered my iPhone 4s back and needed a new back. Cell Phone City put on a crappy knock-off back on my iPhone which fit poorly in my case. Ended up going to Apple Store in Indianapolis where the Apple Genius put on the true glass back on my iPhone at only about half the price. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Sometimes, when you are not as familiar with technology, you do stupid things like getting your sim card stuck in your brand new Galaxy S7 because you didn't use the tray. This may or may not have happened to me (it totally did). I took my phone to another repair place. They had it for two days and were unable to fix it. I then took it to Cell Phone City and he had it fixed in 30 minutes. Because of the fine work they do I can forget about my lack of understanding technology and go search for Pokémon. I went in today with a phone that was dropped in water, and unfortunately I'm heading out of town tomorrow, which didn't leave him a lot of time to get any work done. He did however go above and beyond what was ever asked or expected from him. He quickly opened up the phone and dried as much as possible before I left and gave me very specific instructions on how to deal with it, along with essentially sending my business away (to my final destination). Today they replaced my old iPhone battery with a new one. Staff is very polite, knowledgeable , and professional. I am amazed at the speed of service and the cost was very reasonable. FINAL UPDATE - 4/8/16 - Went into Cell Phone City today to discuss the "3rd Party Camera" on the broken iPhone (which had just been to the Apple Store). I wasn't expecting results or an admission that the camera had been swapped out. The owner was irate, insulted that I would believe that the camera would be swapped. Apparently they are very cheap anyhow and even if he had swapped it out, then he wouldn't make much on resale. THEN, he took my phone apart and showed me that 1) the original tape was still holding down the iPhone camera, then pulled the tape back to get to the new screws, which had never been touched, then pulled up the camera which had a tag on it with the apple emblem. Original Apple camera in tact. Last thing, he showed me a new (in a sealed bag) replacement camera so I could see what the camera would look like if he had swapped it out. The replacement camera has an "apple emblem" but that apple was marked out with a sharpie. No 3rd party dealer can put anything in a phone that has the apple emblem or they can be sued by Apple. Yeah, the geek at the Apple store lied to me. Cell Phone City proved it. UPDATE - 4/7/16 - Just got back from the Apple Store in Mishawaka for a huge issue with the iPhone 6 that had a glass repair at Cell Phone City. Apple can't help me, even though the phone is no longer operable. First issue being that it has 3rd party glass on the phone, which I knew about as I took it to CPC for the glass repair. Second issues being that the apple camera was removed from the phone and "replaced" with a 3rd party camera which was something we did not request to be changed/fixed. 12/8/15 - I've used Cell Phone City 2x in the last month for glass repairs because my kids have butterfingers. First experience was with an iPad 2 that had a shattered screen. It was repaired in 48 hours. The second time was today, for an iPhone 6 with a shattered screen. The iPhone was repaired in under an hour. Great service, friendly owner, and quick turnaround. Good location too. I'm hoping I don't need any further repairs but if I do, I'll go back. read more
