The phone had been working just fine, and I only wanted to be proactive in getting it fixed. Fast-forward three days after their repair, and the same lens is cracked again, despite no drops, bumps, or accidents. I took it back, assuming a business with "CPR" in the name might stand by their work. Wrong. They claimed the crack was due to a "puncture" and refused to honor their warranty, even though I had done absolutely nothing to cause damage. I asked what good a warranty is if it doesn't cover a repair that clearly didn't hold up, and they basically shrugged it off. Honestly, I would have been better off keeping the original, lightly cracked lens than paying for a replacement that failed within days. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. I wouldn't trust this place with a phone case, let alone a repair.

So I went online and set an appointment for the weekend to see what they could do. I have used Geek squad services (at least the ones down in Miami) ever since High School. They have added memory to my computer, helped me recover files on a busted external hard drive, and so many other different things over the years. When you walk in, they have a tv prominently displaying those who have appointment and when you would be seen. I was happy to see that my appointment was taken and that i did not have much time to wait at all. So i start talking to the Geek Squad tech and he advised that they do not perform repairs of apple products in house, they have to ship it to Apple for repair. He said that due to the age of the device that obviously I am our of warranty. He then described the cost for Apple just to check what the issue is. He said any repairs would be over that amount. He then advised that technically, the cost for just diagnosis was the cost of this current older model alone. I thanked him for his honesty, and said I would just buy a new apple ipad. Only reason why this isnt 5 stars is because I wish that they did apple device repair in house.

Hi , I'm very happy to say that the service I received from Cell Phone City was top rated . My power button was broken on my Samsung s4 phone . I first took it to verizon they couldn't do anything for me . After spending over Two hours they couldn't even get my contacts or pictures off the phone . After getting a new iPhone 6s . I was looking for someone to fix the power button on the old one . I took it to Cell Phone City where the owner didn't only fixed the phone within two hours . He took the time to help me down load contacts and pictures to the new phone . Very reasonable prices , I'm going to keep the old phone for a backup . I went into cell phone city to have my iPhone looked at, because I believed my backlight was going out. I was greeted with friendly service by the owner Shafiq. He took my phone in the back, removed the back cover, and realized that a few connectors were loose based on me dropping the phone a few days earlier. Shafiq secured the connectors and fastened my phone back up in no time at all. He didn't try and sell me anything that I didn't need while I was there and actually didn't even charge me anything. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for friendly and honest customer service. read more

Have taken a couple of my phones in for repair and have always received excellent service also fast service. Also today I took my phone in for charging issues and thought it needed a new port. When in all reality it just needed cleaned out. Point in progress is that they are an honest shop as well. He could of easily installed a new port and charged me for it! I would highly recommend Cell Phone City in Fort Wayne for all of your cell phone repair needs. My husband and I had just purchased Samsung Galaxy S5s for ourselves and our daughter. Her screen broke after a fall to the ground and we took it to Cell Phone City for a repair. It was the cheapest place in town, they had the part in stock, and had it done in about an hour!! Broke my phone a while ago, twice to be correct. Found Cell Phone City and the price quoted was better then what I would pay to get replaced through insurance. Phone was fixed both times in an hour. Shafiq is very friendly and I have never had an issue with the work he has done. Anytime I have any kind of issues with my phone or tablet I take it to him to help me. I was met with fantastic customer service, (I was there about 15 minutes early and he let me in and took my phone then!) helpful guidance to know what I should do and it was done within an hour. I have an I phone 6 that would shut off 3 times a day for no reason. I had to plug it in to get I to work. I took it to my carrier and spoke to the manufacturer. These guys are cool, they helped resolve a water damaged Note 3 about a year ago for a family member of mine and it is still working today. I have also sent them business for screen repairs on IPADs and other cell phones. I trust them, they do good work, the price is cool, and sometimes it takes less than an hour. read more

Today I had my iPhone 5s screen repaired in less than an hour, for cheaper than I had found any place else. Not only that but he offered to fix my front camera and charging port while he was at it. And I went and spoke with a guy and he was well-rounded and we discussed many things which tell me a lot about him and the money is the most important thing actually if I can get it all together I would actually spend 10 to 20 more to try to find a battery with 500 to 2,000 more mah capacity and seals which are better to ensure the ip68 rating is retained. And I intend to possibly find a second screen case 450 to $80 unused online I saw recently so it's going to be an investment of the 70 plus maybe 10 to 20 more plus 50 to 80 for the second screen in case and it will revive a phone which was possibly LG's best ever. And this guy also attempted to help people with low income by undertaking an endeavor with the ACP and it's too bad that he fell upon a bad company. But you can tell like some companies he didn't make much if anything off of it but probably lost money. That's too bad cuz this looks like an excellent business for fort wayne.
