I was told it would be a one day job. On the scheduled day, I finally called them at 2:00. Yes, they were still coming. They got here at 2:30. Worked hard and well, but then left without a word a bit after 4. Leaving several logs and a huge tree trunk on my property. No call. No explanation. 6 days later, they showed up again, unannounced. Took away the wood. But didn't grind the stump as contracted. Left again with no word. Maybe, in theory, they will return someday to finish the job. Obviously they either don't know how to make a phone call, or else they just don't care about their customers.

I hired Charlie Nansteel Tree Service to remove all my trees 4 years ago…read more It was going to be over a two year period due to the $7000.00 cost of the Job. 1/2 of them the first year, and the 2nd half the following year. I was very pleased with the work and the skill of all their tree experts. During the removal of the 2nd half the the Crain to remove the cut logs broke down and they had to remove the logs with a bobcat and dump truck. In doing so they left one tree standing due to darkness removing what they cut, and Charlie said he would be back to the next day to take down the last tree. So I paid him in advance considering it was only one tree and added another $150.00 tip for the crew. Two years later the tree is still standing, numerous phone calls. Last year I installed metal roofs on my garages and two weeks later part of the tree snapped dying a storm and landed on my metal roof causing it to leak. After calling him he said he would be out net week to take care of it. That was a year ago. Roof still leaks. He was sent a certified letter a month ago To give him 3 weeks to remove the tree or face small claims court. That time limit passed last week. I will hire another tree service to complete the work I already paid for, and pass the cost on to him plus the damage to my roof. I would not recommend using this tree service

I hired Jeremy, the owner of TLC, to remove three large trees from my property. Jeremy showed up on…read moretime for the estimate and seemed well-spoken and knowledgeable. Although TLC wasn't the cheapest estimate, I decided to go with them anyway. It was stated in the contract that I would keep all the wood, and the crew would cut it into 16"-20" pieces and stack it. On the day of the removal, the crew showed up two hours late with no phone call or text. I was nervous that they weren't going to show up, so I called Jeremy to touch base. The crew finally arrived, and I went to my neighbor's place just down the street. A few hours later, I saw two trucks leaving my lot loaded with two large tree trunks worth hundreds of dollars in hardwood. I confronted Tom, the site foreman, and he said, "I didn't think you would mind." and said he would "knock a few bucks off the price". I called Jeremy, and he apologized for his crew stealing the wood. He said this has never happed before. While we did come to a discounted price, in retrospect, I should have filed a police report. If you hire TLC, keep a very close eye on their crew. They are obviously not trustworthy. If they were willing to steal from me, it's possible that they have done the same to other customers as well.

Every employee is so kind, educated, and efficient ! We have had very tall very dangerous trees and they cut them down safely and quickly no job is too big for them !
