He even helped us apply for the permit, which made the whole process so much easier. We originally thought we only needed two dead trees removed. When he came out to give us a quote, he pointed out a few other trees that looked fine from the outside but actually had cavities inside. We weren't sure at first, but we trusted his expertise -- and thank goodness we did. Once he cut them, we saw insects and worms crawling inside and realized those trees were hollow and would have eventually fallen, potentially damaging our home. He truly knows his craft. His pricing was very fair, especially compared to the other three quotes we received. Not only was he the most reasonably priced, but his knowledge and thoroughness were unmatched. No damage to my lawn AT ALL. First of all and to me very importantly: Adam Murphy has integrity. I asked about work I thought needed to be done (including taking down a large tree). Adam explained why the work wasn't necessary. Second, Murphy's Tree service as a team is extremely professional and clearly exceptionally (not "just" extremely) skillful. They arrived early. I was out running errands. They were finishing up when I got back. Apart from missing trees and work done on a large tree right over my shed up at the back of my yard in a difficult-to-reach (with equipment) place, I wouldn't have known they were there at all if I'd have arrived 15 minutes later! Four trees taken care of, chipped, the driveway cleaned up with a leaf blower. And the cost was very competitive.
