This is a BIG place with a lot of menu choices. Love that the kitchen is open as late as it is. Late night eats can be hard to come by in this neck of the woods. Stopped in on the Sunday of Memorial Weekend with the in laws (who coincidentally live right in Germantown Hills). Service was quick and polite. Don't go here if you're gluten intolerant. Extremely limited GF options and those are overpriced. They have GF pizza and half-price pizza special one night per week. With that said, my sister took us to Germantown Grille for dinner our first night here. I ordered the Pony and Chris got the Horseshoe. My sisters boyfriend ordered The Horseshoe as well. Mine seemed like ALL cold onion rings and fries on a bed of average ground beef. I was pretty disappointed in the flavor and temperature. My wife thought hers was fine, but wouldn't get it again. My sisters boyfriend Dave had not meat on his at all. He was halfway through before he realized what was going on. After he told the waitress, she brought a small bowl of hamburger. Germantown Grille is the best place to eat in Germantown Hills. The food is mostly sandwiches and fries. They also have pizza, salads, and dinner plates (fried bluegill dinner). Not only is their pizza (pick-up or dine in only) the best in the area, the food is really good and consistent. The Jalapeno Burger with curly fries is my favorite. Their fresh fish sandwich is also really good. They have a small selection of craft beers and a full bar. It's always a great standby for us when we want pizza, or a close-to-home sit down dinner. read more

The Germantown Grille is a gem of a restaurant, just outside of Peoria. I would suggest the tenderloin, pizza, or wings....you can't go wrong with anything on their menu, but these are particularly excellent! My wife ordered the Italian beef horseshoe it also was huge and she said was very good. Stopped in for the first time on 6-30-2018. The place was packed but we only waited about 15 minutes for a table. After being seated, the waitress quickly took our drink and food order. I opted for a 1/2 pound mushroom Swiss burger with fries. My dining partner had the shrimp and fries as well as the chicken corn chowder. His chowder arrived with our drinks. He said it was very good. About 10 minutes later our food arrived. The burger was flavorful and the fries of the skinny variety. His shrimp were nice, large ones and he said they were delicious. 2nd time here. Great again! We had the haystack onions again. They are great and it's a huge order. Two people cannot eat them all. The wings are on special on Sunday. We were served the southwest ranch by mistake but are now my favorite. I was thinking Hidden Valley Ranch which they are not. More like a very mild spicy wing. Be sure to get them oven seared.
