This gym is expensive and feels old. I think it's at least $99 per…read moremonth for a couple, and $125 or more for a family membership. If playing racquetball and swimming laps are important to you, then it might be worth it. They just raised their rates and I'm not able to see any upgrades. Very few spin class options. The bathrooms are very run down, especially the men's, where there is no privacy. The men's open showers are right out of a 1950's military barrack. The ventilation is bad, so the smells coming from the one toilet stall mix with the steam and fill the whole bathroom and changing area. And though it's not the gym's fault, some of the gym members have very bad hygiene standards in the bathroom. The age demographic generally skews 65+. You can potentially save hundreds of dollars per year elsewhere.

Trevor told us that the Rogue River trip is more mellow and the Upper Klamath more intense. Our family did the half-day morning Rogue ride, and though it was mellow there were two Class 4 rapids, which were fun and wet! Perfect for us.

Our family was in town for my son's graduation from SOU and it hit triple digits. To escape the…read moreheat, we planned a family float/Discovery Park and had Steve and Sam as our guides. Half of our group (me, my son, my mom-in-law) sat in the raft with Steve while the other half (husband, son, and dad-in-law) chose to kayak. Steve and Sam did a great job navigating us down the river, avoiding all the submerged logs and pointing out points of interest and animals and birds. Discovery Park was really fun - great lunch, and the climbing structure in the water was the best way to cool off. Overall, a wonderful day! Huge thanks to Steve and Sam as well!

I totally get that children can be annoying but YOU'RE AT WORK and all the parents were 150 percent on top of watching their own kids.
