In my experience I found some difficulties, for instance: The teenagers on the staff were very bossy and a lot of times just plain rude. Also, during the Nerf battles the owner's sons and staff members cheat in the game a lot and are just not very nice. The owner himself is focused on safety and he modifies Nerf guns, which is kind of cool. But he is also a cheater in the battles, which makes the overall game less fun. I have attended parties at Think Tank Kids three times now I have had some fun but also some bad times. Overall, it's a great idea, but it needs to be run better. There were so many problems with this staff this last time, I don't think I will want to go anymore." Hope it helps. He makes a good point. The staff at this "business" are probably friends or perhaps children of the owner. Believe me when I say, they are not helping him. They provide the children with lunches, field trips, and snacks. My daughter loves the counselors and has made friends with the other children. As far as cost goes it is well worth the $79 weekly fee. I am, more than happy to pay it. The stress of having to find a trustful baby sitter is gone. Also I saw a father with 4 kids including a baby in a stroller on the ice, a toddler-ish one in a walker & two slightly bigger kids - kiddos to this man for keeping them all skating & happy. Lone Pine Park is the most underserved park in the City. It was built in 2007 and grass was…read moreplanted in the middle. A covered picnic area and a few odds and end trees were planted and left to fend for themselves. One is hanging on the ground in the middle of the park that could use most of its lower branches pruned , but after a few requests for help nothing is done. There's a walking path that is nice. I was told they have a total of 4 employees for park maintenance. The surrounding parks at Kennedy, Spring Street, and Cedar links are in pristine shape with bark mulch around the borders instead of noxious weeds. The areas around the walking path are filled with goat head thorns and dead vegetation. I asked the parks why they let this area go to weed and they said it isn't irrigated. They don't have plans to irrigate or improve this park . There's at least a half acre of unused/undeveloped field space that also is a weed patch. It says there is a playground on site but there is none. They put in a splash pad several years ago but no improvements to grassy areas that are being taken over by weeds. There is a poor tree near the pavilion that is drooping branches on the ground. Help!! City commissioners what can you do do? Take a field trip and compare how this park is cared for vs all others.

This was the first escape room I've done where the employee role-played in the room (as the bartender) rather than watching from outside. It made things feel more immersive, even if it did feel like a clever, low tech workaround at time (I'm pretty sure he had to manually trigger some things when certain conditions were met). We had a blast! I would definitely try their other room the next time we are in the Ashland area.

Anyways DANIEL MEYER is an ok pool for kids like under 15. But they do offer adult swim lap times. I've been going to DANIEL MEYER pool ever summer when I was a kid. They have a main pool, sitting area and a tiny pool area for toddlers with a fence. DANIEL MEYER pool is ok but is pretty shallow as far as pools go. There is hunter park right outside of DANIEL MEYER with a playground. Also outside of DANIEL MEYER is the greenway, aka the bike path. Fun place to bring kids during summer.

There is plenty of parking spots and good to see no non sense going on in the parking lot. We have been to a few skate parks where there were shenanigans going on in the parking lot. We stopped because I used to skate and it cool to watch the different levels of skaters having a great time. I'm 56 now and no more skating, I do have a super cool RC truck that I normally bring to the parks, I didn't have it with me on this trip. It was good to see skateboarders , bike riders and scooter riders all having a good time together. Sometimes the younger scooter riders get a hard time from the older kids. We sat in the shade for about an hour and watched tricks being practiced and tricks being pulled off, it brought back a lot of great memories. It was a surprise to see that not everyone had a helmet on, I know it saved my head more than a few times. Side note, just as we were leaving the police pulled up in the parking lot just to do a walk around.
