I much prefer the arcade here compared to lava lanes arcade. The mini golf here is pretty decent, could use some repairs/updating but it's not the worst. Machine did not pay out jackpot as it was supposed to, it stated 2000 ticket jackpot and only paid out 1032. Staff wasn't very helpful and claimed all they could do was refund a couple of dollars. They acted annoyed that they had to help us. The manager claimed that the most their machines paid were 1000 tickets even though there was a machine right in front of the counter that showed the bonus was 1043. She said she added another $3 back. If anyone is familiar with these arcades they know that you could spend $100+ and not get 2000 tickets. We have had similar issues before and staff was able to check machines and give the ticket amount as won. We never asked or wanted a refund for the game price just the tickets that were won. read more

I would give zero stars if I was able to post the review without the one star! I visited there Sunday afternoon for miniature golf with my family. We went inside to get some bottled water which was on the menu for a 20oz bottle of Dasani at $2.00. I paid with my debit card then they set the 12oz bottle of Niagra Falls brand water bottle on the counter. I asked if they had the one shown on the menu because I would never even consider purchasing had it shown what you are trying to give me. The young lady told me no so I started to say that is false advertisement and very misleading but she just walked away which caused me to feel unheard and dismissed. When she returned, I told her I was talking to her when she walked away, and she just ignored me again as her manager walked up. Lilly (manager) asked me what the problem is, so I began to tell her when she cut me off rudely and asked how I paid. I told her and she rudely said insert card and proceeded with a refund. Not once did she validate my concern or try to solve the issue. She even looked at me with a cruel glare. Lilly and Emma are very unprofessional, inappropriate when handling conflict resolution situations and can easily escalate any situation and cause a whole lot more issues if it were done with the wrong person. My kids had such a good time. It was their first time playing miniature golf and they had a blast. They wanted to come back the next day! There's tons of things to do other than golfing if that's not your jam. There's an arcade, bumper boats, a batting cage, and go-karts. And the staff were all friendly. 12/15/23 We brought about 150 middle school students today as a reward for good grades and behavior. We had only been here about 10 minutes when we were told we had to clear out by 11:45! The staff at the Rogue Valley Family "Fun" Center were rude to the teaching staff, and students. The two bald guys made a comment to each other (in front of the teaching staff) about needing to "head to the bar, after these people leave." My experience at the Family Fun Center was nothing but amazing and all the employees are super sweet and well trained and well mannered. Except when I was waiting for my pretzel in line, this woman infront of me was screaming at one of the employee named Emma and a manager named Lily. She was screaming profanity and completely ruining everyone else's experience. Did she ever even consider ITS A KIDS PLACE WITH CHILDREN AROUND? I'm not one to call people out but the review she left was completely untrue and SOOO EXAGGERATED. This pay as you go "amusement park" is GREAT! It was a hot day and we came w the 2.5 years old so we only went for the indoor Cactus Jack which is basically an indoor playground with soft cushiony climbing gym and obstacle courses for little kids. They posted a max height requirement was 56 inches. The cost to play was only $5!!!! And you can let your kids to play all day!!! What a bargain! It's even cheaper if you come after 6pm, $3.5/kid. It was my toddler's first indoor playground experience! I had to admit that being a helicopter mom that I am, there were some scary moments when I couldn't see her and I actually joined her to watch her play at a closer distance and there were some climbing areas that were a bit too high for her, I stick around nearby to give her assistance when needed. And also there were other older kids (4-5 yrs) that I was worried they would run over my little toddler. Though, they were all very respectful and it wasn't crowded that there were always times when we were alone in a section of the playground for a good period of time. Ny toddler played there for maybe 1.5 hours!! She was certainly wiped out afterwards and she had a big dinner afterwards and bedtime was very smooth lol. The arcade (indoor) looked fun too! Some of the games were unique and they even had those newer virtual kinds (where you played wearing goggles). If we live in the area, I think it would be fun to visit to play the outdoor rides like the bumper boats, go-cart and mini-golf. They even have baying cages for those who want something more active. I especially like that they don't charge an entrance fee and you just pay for what you wanted to play/ride. The place was also reasonably clean (including the restrooms) which we really appreciate especially bringing a toddler there to play. We will certainly come again if we're in the area. Note, the outdoor area is HOT as it's exposed under the sun though, but perhaps if you're from the area, you're used to w the weather. (Or come after the sun down or during cooler seasons to play the outdoor games/rides). read more

My only complaint is, the prizes are a bit over priced. You have to win an exuberant amount of tickets to get something decent. Had a great time here when my son was off school. We played mini golf and paid for go karts but it ended up raining. They said it will stay on our card so we can come back whenever to use it which was great. The process of getting things added to our Fun card was very simple. Their snack bar was fairly cheap. It had been at least 13 years if not longer since I last visited the family fun center. When I lived in Medford during high school this was the spot to go. It has changed a LOT. Most notably the cost. 2 rides on the bumper boats, 2 rounds on the go karts & about an hour in the arcade for 2 kiddos ran me more than 300$, thats higher than any car payment I've ever had in my entire life by more than 100$ lol. My daughter was dead set on getting as many 'tickets' as possible ending up with 667 tickets for her nearly 400 tokens spent. She quickly learned that number of tickets gets you very little in the way of prizes & left with a sucker & a handful of fun dips ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ This was their first time on bumper boats & go karts & they really had a great time but I don't feel like the inflated cost was worth the short time limits & number of tokens required for games. Can only imagine how cool this place is during the summer. My group of 3 was one of only a handful of folks here today (pandemic). Only saw a staff of two here but there were kind and professional. Appreciate the fact one guy while no customers were at his go cart station, walked thru the putt-putt area and picked up a couple pieces of garbage. The golf area was PRISTINE! We came here for 40 minute and left. So many people with no masks- inside and outside. Barely any of the staff had masks on. The bumper boats were not charged well so you have no control of them and just drift in a circle. A waste of $15 for me and my kid. No one was wiping down equipment in between drivers of boats or cars. I almost walked out seeing that but we drove 22 minutes to come here and my kid begged me- but being in a pandemic and seeing no Covid protocols in place was shocking to me. Some people don't care about Covid safety - this review is not for you. If I had read a review like this I wouldn't have driven 45 minute round trip and wasted $30. read more

We went here for a corporate wellness/family fun event. There is lots to do here and something for everyone to enjoy. The bumper boats were a blast, expect to get soaked. There are two 18 hole mini golf courses but we only completed one is it was 100° that day. Great course though. I think our group most enjoyed the go carts. Fun fun times at this place. Didn't do much inside as far as games but it looked like everyone doing the arcade was having fun. If you are looking for something that everyone enjoys and wants some good family bonding time try this place out. If you can make it on a Friday, that's probably the Best day to come as you can buy a card for $40 and that's unlimited everything otherwise when you buy a card you're limited to only two go cart runs. read more

We are from Northern California area and decided to take a family trip to Oregon with other relatives who also had children. We chose Medford because it was a semi short drive with what looked like a good amount to do. We had lots of fun in the town and when we got there we seen this place online while we had breakfast. We did their Monday deals and our 11 people group ( 4 adults and 7 children) had lots of fun! The people were pretty nice and the property seemed well kept. We didn't eat the food there and it didn't look horrible or anything but I honestly think I might go to the many other restaurants near by for food instead but that may just be me. But my kids and nieces and nephews had a BLAST. And even the men had a good time with the air hockey tables and go carts! read more

We brought our 9 year old for his birthday and he LOVED the arcade and cactus's playhouse (which I thought would be geared towards younger kids based on the pictures I saw but it is actually a HUGE 3 story play area). The ONLY downside was they had a staffing shortage and closed early, so we had to cram all of our activities into a few hours which sucked because we drove for a few hours to come to this specific family fun center per my son's request. But the staff that was there was AWESOME. answered any and all of my husband's obscure questions, helped with malfunctioning machines, letting my husband do the bumper boats with our son because there was NOONE else there. This place has gone down hill and ran by people who just don't care. We went to go run the go karts but apparently they were closing at 10pm because of a private event. We arrived at the desk at a little before 9:30 an initially were told that they we couldn't ride then they said they would squeeze us in before the big money. The go kart experience was horrible about half way through our run a car spun and all the cars were slowed. This took way too long and cut into our riding time. When asked about this the staff was rude and kept referring to some made up policy. We were told in person that the policy is 5 minutes when it is clear their website says approx 6-8 minutes. It was clear we were not important customers. These guys are a ripoff and don't give a hoot about it. If you want to race some cars go to Go Kart Hero instead better everything. read more

#1 must be a joke because, my family and I are from Nevada and came up to see family in Lakeside. We saw this FAMILY Fun Zone on the way back to NV and thought it might be a great place to let our 2, 12, 15, and 17 year old kids get some energy out before another 10 hours in the car. When at the gate we started to ask some questions and let the young lady running the outdoor window know our situation and what we could do. We were told the 2 year old couldn't ride 2 attractions outside and when we asked why she asked the general manager to speak to us. Rather them him take a moment to ask what was going on or anything he just kept repeating kids have to be 3 or older to ride the attractions. He kept repeating it without letting me inquire about ANYTHING else. We were trying to understand why a 36inch toddler couldn't ride with her Dad on the rides. Yes she's 2 but she's big enough to ride carnival rides solo in a lot of other places we visited. In NV she's been able to do everything as a passenger due to her weight and height. Again zero chance to read the signs or gather any information as the stop was done on a whim and we were willing to spend the full amount for the older kids to have fun with their Dad and Grandma. Now after looking at the site we get the 3 years old or older was posted but had the general manager taken a minute to actually speak to us and I don't do; some basic customer service to speak to us like human beings he could have told us what the 2 year old would be allowed to do like IDK mini golf or the Jumping Jack's area but instead of listening or even engaging he just rudely kept repeating 3 years or older until I had to tell him to F right off for speaking to us this way. We're not sorry to not have spent a dime in the place and sincerely feel sorry for the owner with this manager in place. We've been to Idaho, California, and all over NV and never once had an experience like this in a FAMILY FUN CENTER. They usually let us know what our youngest can do so we can work around our families needs and wants. This stop was an incredibly upsetting way to end a family vacation when we had high hopes of getting out of the car for a bit to let our kids play. With all due seriousness we can completely understanding why it was so dead upon arrival. Must be a garbage place to begin with and not care about losing business for 5 adult passes because Grandma was with us as well to not help a mom get something for her toddler to do while they went off to do the other attractions. As my husband put it clearly mislabeled it because that is not a FAMILY fun center at all. I imagine there are many families traveling I-5 looking for places to stop and entertain the kids. The Family Fun Center beckons to you from its easy access location off the freeway in Central Point. We've been there three times, but only because our 9-year old grandson likes to go and it's been his reward for learning to swim, learning to ride his bike, etc. First the positives: the staff who work the rides are friendly and helpful, even to our 4-year old who didn't know how to steer the kiddie cars. There are two nice miniature golf courses, a pool with bumper boats, batting cages, a go-kart course for the big kids and one for the littler ones and an arcade. And they have added some partial shade and picnic tables since our last visit. The place is clean but understaffed and there are few people there -- a plus for no lines but a minus for no one to bump in your boat and you have to ask for operators to come run the rides. You have to go through the arcade to get to the rides, a noisy place that will try to suck you in. Kids can get addicted to the ticket system, essentially racking up hundreds of tickets that cost you about 50 times more than the trinkets the tickets will buy. Now the negative: this place is way over-priced. $28 buys as much miniature golf and bumper boats as you want and just two go-kart rides. For the younger set, $23 for the kiddie cars instead. Individual rides are priced at about $7.00. There are only two possible rides for whichever age group plus the mini golf. Compare that to Great America with a full day's admission for about $35 (and discounts available, like right now for $27) and a huge selection of rides and water activities. And GA will sell you a season pass for not much more. Looking for a fun place to stop with the kids in Central Point? Drive one more mile to the Don Jones Memorial Park for a free water splash park and playground, very nicely maintained and full of squealing happy children. read more
