I am very pleased. I came to Bear Creek golf center. I met Josh and Kendall J. They were best at customer service. I don't think I've had better experience there. One thing I would say is that during the reconstruction they need to have something to give back to the customers that arrive not knowing they are under construction. Josh c should be the main bartender because of his personal skills He was amazing and very attentive.Kendall made me feel like I wanted to come back just because of how he made us feel even though we couldn't golf at the driving range. as you know you can go to any business but you wanna go back to a business that takes time to make you feel appreciated . Bear Creek Golf course is a fun challenging quirky little par 3 course that's been around for over 50 years, and the owners are putting in a ton of money and improvements! It's ok as 9 hole courses go. You have to walk no carts. The real bad drawback is that it's loaded with frisbee golfers and the have made all the goals the same as the golfers holes. That being said you have to wait a lot on each tee before you can go. read more

I played here the other day with my wife. The course has made major improvements on the back patio. The course is in better condition than it's been in years, especially 50 yards into the green. The greens did roll fairly true. My only complaint is that you need to have winter rates not the same rate as in the summer. At $15 for 9 holes, I can get that rate in the winter at Quail Point or Stewart Meadows which are not chip and putt courses. Keep up the good work with the improvements!! read more

This place is terrible save your money and time. Stopped by while I was home visiting family was not impressed management was rude to me very unhelpful. There were cigarette butts all over the green overfilled trash cans. New golf pro is a creep/drunk he made my wife and friends feel very uncomfortable around him. Do not recommend this establishment. We played at noon on a monday. The staff is super and the were very honest when they said I was going to have a "unique experience." There were very few people out so it was like having the place to yourself. The fairway grass was very high and it was hard to find your ball, even more so with piles of Cottonwood on holes 5,6, and 7. Two holes were like playing in the rough all the way down the fairway. Goose poop was on the greens and added a bit of a challenge but who doesn't love a good golf story. Three of the hole cups were so gross, I would hit the ball into them! The price was great but the place needs some love. Honestly, you could tell with some TLC and someone to sweep the greens a couple of times a day, this place would be the gem of the city. We have a few executive courses in Portland and this one could be nicer than all of them. I could really see this course being a favorite of seniors, new players, and anyone who wanted to smack the ball for a great price. Their patio was really cute and had nice umbrellas. We enjoyed ourselves, I would just like to see the owner out a little more love into it and it would be a 5 star stop. read more

This golf course is probably great to walk a round of disk golf or to get a lesson for a child. The purpose of my trip was to treat myself to the driving range while away for business. The driving range is in terrible shape. The netting is completely broken. The range balls are not washes and the concrete area is cluttered with debris. Majority of the balls have deep cuts and scratches. Many of the balls in my bucket where broken. The executive hitting pad are newer and nice to hit off of. The driving range has signs posted saying no woods IRONS only. thus is nothing like I expected from looking at the pictures from the website. Thus range is great for teaching children the fundamentals and working on your very short irons. read more

Great little course. I have it 4 stars just because there were no par 5 holes. The course is well kept and was fun to play. It's 9 holes, so I played it twice. They charge $20 bucks to play all day, deals like that are rare. The staff was very friendly. I'll be back whenever I visit Medford. read more

This place is crap, always has been, always will be. Owners are just waiting for the tribal lands to get approved. Take your money somewhere else, it will be the best decision you will make with your hard earned mullah, in fact, if you really want to spend your money you would spend here, at least get a buzz.....walk across the parking lot to the bowling alley and have a brewskie(s).....same owners but at least you get something out of it. Laurel hills and quail point are nice courses and relatively inexpensive so try those instead. This place blows, just close already. read more

I have played this course 4 or 5 times over the last year. They have made some great improvements. It is not the best course in the valley, but you can't beat the price. The driving range is short, but it is covered, which is great for temps over 90 or those rainy days. I look forward to playing more as they continue to improve the course. read more

I used to love this course for a little pitch and putt, but now they have disc golf going on AT THE SAME TIME AND USING THE SAME HOLES as regular golf. I don't blame the disc golfers, just a very poor business decision on Bear Creek's part. I won't be back. read more

First-rate golf course. Nice layout that's easily walkable and good exercise. Fun to play with interesting challenges for the novice. All of the greens are uniform and well maintained. Prices are reasonable. My son, an avid golfer, flew in from the east coast without clubs. We were able golf all morning with a full set of clubs/bags for each of us, walking carts, a generous supply of golf balls, warm up at the driving range right next door and refreshment for around $50. The guys in the shop are incredibly helpful and did an outstanding job of looking after us. Did I mention there's a driving range right next door? Great place to warm up before your game or refine your swing after a great day on the course. read more
