The entire store is above and beyond but the employees in the liquor store section are a breed apart. I am a consistent customer. One of my favorite things is that no matter how often you go there they check your ID to your card. They make sure no one is scamming a card. Plus as you get older being carded feels good, lol. All jokes aside they are professional, polite, and friendly. I have been talked down to and insulted at other stores. They have been unfailingly respectful and helpful. I can't recommend this establishment enough. Mo in particular is amazing but so is the rest of the staff. I don't have everyone's name off the top of my head. However, there isn't an employee there that hasn't helped me or given me anything but a solid recommendation. Given a chance I'd hire every one of these people and steal them. Far and away the best liquor store in the state and I travel a lot. It isn't the biggest store and it doesn't have the largest selection but it does boast the best staff. If you're going to be in Eugene I highly recommend Bruns Red Apple Market as your go to liquor store. Plus they're open til 10 even On Sundays! You can't beat that. Again, Mo is the bee's knees. I might be biased but they're awesome. In fact every person that works there has never been anything but awesome. Normally any place you shop at has that one person. You know. The food truck is outside, and all done by one chef. That's to say, the food is made fresh and patience is needed. Thankfully, inside that had a great selection of local and international beer so I bought a 6-pack for us to enjoy while we waited. There were also colorful characters enjoying food and drinks outside who talked with us at length. It was really pleasant to be able to wait comfortably.
