Today we arrived to see the freezer is looking wonderfully arranged, clearly someone had spent some time and done some real organizing here, but unfortunately, I went straight back to the product that I had complained about, and again so many expired! I understand being a week past the expiration date, even two or three weeks is honestly understandable, especially in frozen foods but a month, six months, a year or more no way.

When I took this up to customer service to trade it for another lemon "Thomas" couldn't have behaved more bothered to have to assist me and needed to see my ID and wanted to receipt... For one lemon. Not out of the norm for this guy, as he always seems to have quite the attitude. Also having one checker, checking people out is ridiculous and you have to bag your own groceries. I am disabled, so this is incredibly difficult for me and I always have to do the self check out because the lines at the one working check stand are unbearably long. Sad really how far Fred Meyer has fallen. Do better Fred Meyer!

Like all WFs, they have an exceptional prepared food area with lots of delicious mains and fixings. The one thing I'm not a fan of is the roasted chicken. I've bought dozens and they are always dry. Not sure what's up with that because everything else is really good. Bakery section has tempting treats, lots of grainy breads and even gluten free options. The cheese area is fantastic, always something new to try. Because of the prices, I can't afford to shop here for my everyday items, but I come when I want high quality meat, cheese, and produce.
