The treatment involves Helen giving you a scrub body massage first, then wrapping you like a tortilla in an infrared sauna blanket which uses heat to help detoxify the body of unwanted chemicals and break up fatty tissue deposits. The goal is to get your heart beating faster to burn calories while you're wrapped up. Any opportunity to be massaged, wrapped up in a blanky, fall into a deep meditative state, and BURN CALORIES at the same time, is right up my alley. I can tell you it was a delightfully relaxing experience, but after one session, it's too early to tell if I burned extra calories. I'm totally up for another session, though!
