The place is cozy and little later Carine came out. She gave paper work to do and asked to be seated for sometime. My facial was good. Carine did a nice job. She was very quiet and I decided to have a general talk during the facial since we hardly spoke when i checked in. My facial was done in about 45 mins, would have been nice if it was for 60 mins. You never feel out of place or that someone is taking behind your back in a language you don't understand. When and if a nail does break they are extremely accommodating. The reason my review is only 2 star is because I asked for anc/ dip powder manicure and they had very few colors (all reds and purples), so the tech suggested I do a combination of powder and gel color on top ... I did not like this idea and verbalized my lack of enthusiasm and said the gel does not last as long and I need it to last like powder. My tech ASSURED me they would last like powder. Well... they put the white powder in one layer and a couple layers of the glue and then proceeded to file this all down (and virtually completely away) then did normal gel UV on top of this. It has been 24 hours now since I left the salon, I have full thickness cracks in 2 nails on my left hand, a chip off of the color on my right thumb and pointer finger and my right middle finger nail has completely broken off. And the cost of JUST this manicure was $58.49!!!! SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive than powder manicures elsewhere. Powder manicures done correctly elsewhere normally last 3-4 weeks for me without ANY cracks or chips. I'm very unhappy and will NOT be going back here for powder manicures.
