This was by far the most overpriced nail treatment I have ever received... First, the pluses: they were able to take me with short notice and took their time during my appointment. The exfoliation was a nice addition. The minuses: everything else. It felt like a disorganized space, and not super hygienic. It did not feel relaxing, and the workers seemed stressed. I got a "holistic," manicure and pedicure, but there were still items used that didn't fit that description (blue powder added to the water, why?), and the cost really floored me. I did regular polish, no gel, and only did a clear coat on my hands (my own nails) which started chipping the next day. This was $150, double what I would normally pay elsewhere. I wanted to try somewhere new and had seen many good reviews, but after this experience, I won't be back. read more

Unfortunately they did not write down an appointment for 3 people and we had to wait 30-40 minutes before they started us all. It was discouraging since they took people who walked in after us. We were about to leave but glad we didn't. All of us received phenomenal manis and pedis that were not rushed and turned out fabulous. A week later and my own mani still looks fresh! I picked this location because of the good reviews,but now I'm questioning these reviews. I walked in the door after making two appointments earlier in the week for me and my young daughter, and I was asked if we made an appointment. When I said yes, 2 appointments at 11:30, they then proceeded to separate me and my daughter and start me early by about twenty-five minutes. We wanted to go together, so that defeated the purpose. The whole appointment felt rushed and not relaxing. While getting a pedicure, they pulled a chair over and started doing my manicure in the middle of my pedicure.This made me have to twist my upper body to the side and it was very uncomfortable and I felt completely rushed. All while my daughter is 30 minutes behind getting her pedicure. I finished a full 30 minutes before her and then had to wait under the dryers and was separated from her the entire time. The 2 women working on me proceeded to whisper and speak to each other in quiet voices the whole time while ignoring me and the girl doing my daughter's nails did not speak one word to her the entire time. My daughter said she felt uncomfortable and hated the experience,we will not be coming back here. Also, a hundred and fifteen dollars for a little girl's pedicure and manicure and my basic pedicure and miniature? That's without a tip. Very overpriced read more

Love the convenience of booking appointment on line. Service is great. Because it is by appointment only they aren't rushing through your appointment to get to the next client. I have often heard people remark that they don't like gel polish because it ruins your nails but the truth is many walk in salons don't follow the proper removal technique - after filing the surface to break coating they don't allow at least 10 minutes of contact time with cotton soaked with remover to soften polish. The tech will use a metal scraper to get polish off and this damages the nail plate and causes thinning and spots on the nails. The tech will say 'your nails are dry' completely untrue- they have simply damaged your nails. Highly recommend this salon!!! read more

I must start out by saying, I love this place, I truly do. My nails always look amazing when i leave, but I feel like they are sliding downhill. I made appts the other day for my daughter and I for the same time. We started together, then I was taken to the pedi station while she was still having her gel removed. After about 10 min the chair next to me opened up. They brought my daughter over but somehow forgot about her manicure and left the acetone/foil on one hand. She had to ask the girl doing her pedicure to please take it off. ( it had been on for about 30 min at this point ). After another 15 min or so one of the girls finally realized my daughters manicure hadn't been started (other than removing the gel). We finally got through our appts but i have to say, Overall appt. wasn't as relaxing as it usually is. They barely did the lotion and massage with manis. Very rushed atmosphere. We were switched between multiple ladies for our manis (which is most likely why my daughter was forgotten about).. As usual, my nails look very nice. The two ladies that I had have been there since I've been going, well over a year now, and they always do a wonderful job. My daughter on the other hand, started and ended with multiple girls I haven't seen before. I'm sorry to say their attention to detail wasn't up to the usual RNB standard. I booked a Wednesday evening to avoid the busy weekend and felt rushed anyway. All the girls working seemed overwhelmed. One of my other daughters just had a mani done a week before and said she had a similar experience. I hope they are just going through a small staff change and this isn't what's to be. The Nail bar is beautiful, the ladies are very polite and attentive. My daughter and I have gone a total of 2 times each since 12/15/18 and the service they provide is Good. Jessica is great and very personable. The only problem I or issue that I have come across is that when booking online the options of service is limited and the prices do not match. I always have my card handy but when i send my daughter alone she always calls me because she is missing money. Before she goes in we call or check online to see the price so i always give her extra cash for tip but nit even with the extra cash does she have enough. I do not know if they are misleading in there pricing or I am doing my math incorrect. I have been to nail places all over the area and this one is the best. I've been there three times, with three different people helping me, and each time my gel manicure has lasted more than the two weeks. More importantly, each one was impeccably done. What inspired me to write this review is my current manicure was done with very transparent polish, and the person helping me used 4 coats without me asking. Yes, four, she kept looking at it and I could tell she just wasn't happy. It was so nice to have someone do that because they wanted a high quality result, and not act like it's an inconvenience or they are in a hurry. It's so stressful to think, do I need to get another coat? Am I being too picky? You know what I mean. She just did it and it looks amazing. Phew! I live out of state, but my boyfriend lives in town so I was looking for a nail salon to go to when in the area. I love Ridgefield Nail Bar and it's the only place I go to get my nails done now. I stopped going to the nail place by me and make appointments for a gel mani when I know I'll be in Ridgefield. The wait (and drive) is worth it. Making/changing appointments is easy because of their online service. I get the gel manicure and they always come out amazing. They always have a lot of colors to chose from, pay attention to detail and make sure that your nails look perfect. My manicures usually last around 3 weeks. The price for the gel manicure is cheaper than other nail salons I've been too and the quality is much better. Everyone who works there is super nice.
