I don't live in the St. Louis area, but I recently stayed with a friend there who attends the Get in Shape Challenge Boot Camp classes. My friend mentioned the classes and how much she liked them, so I signed up for a couple sessions so that we could workout together while I was in town. I wasn't sure how I was going to like group training, but there was a wide variety of individuals at the sessions I attended, of all fitness levels. Everyone was friendly and I felt welcomed. I also felt that even though we were in a group, everyone got plenty of personal attention and we all moved at our own pace with Robyne guiding us through each portion of the workout. I found the sessions to be challenging but not overly difficult; each move that I was unfamiliar with was fully explained in a way I could understand. And while I was not too sore to move the next day, I could definitely tell I had done a good workout the day before! What I noticed and loved about the way Robyne trains is how she constantly accesses each individual to spot problem areas and changes up the workout routine to strengthen your weak spots and keep you from getting bored. Hi, I was surfing the internet and stumble upon this review. My name is Alicia and I was there that day when Robyne was giving Nate and his mother an orientation for the Get In Shape Challenge Boot Camp. Honestly, they were trying to belittle Robyne and Robyne handled it so professional to end with telling them she appreciated them coming to orientation and their interests in the bootcamp however she would need to decline their participation into the program. Robyne told me later she declined them out of respect for those in attendance. Robyne is very caring about her members and is willing to lose out on money to continue to keep a positive environment for those in class. I love Robyne's classes. Not only has she helped me lose 60 pounds, she has taught me more about exercise and eating healthy than anyone I have hired in the past and when you are in class this is not a secret as everyone speaks highly about her and has high regards towards her knowledge, her patience and her belief in all of us. I have gone to numerous places therapy that doctors recommend, yoga and a lot of other workout classes. I have been with Get In Shape for 5 weeks and I feel so much better. I have had 6 back surgeries and my core is getting so much stronger. I can do moves I wasn't able to do before. There are so many moves and types of exercises that workouts never get boring. We can wear whatever. No one is trying to impress any one else. I love this because I feel so comfortable. Our trainer makes sure we are doing our movements correctly so we get the benefit working the correct muscles and not overworking to cause injury or pain. Even though it's a group setting the instructor provides one on one attention. Highly recommend this workout camp. read more

I found Robyne on a Groupon offer and I am so glad that I did. I have been to gyms before and have tried to create my own workouts but I really didn't know what I was doing. Working out with Robyne, she teachs you the technique and explains each movement and what the benefit is for each one. She has taught me that you can workout anywhere, using a park bench, a fence, stairs, or a wall. You don't have to go to a gym and be uncomfortable to get fit. Get in Shape Challenge was a god send for me. Robyne helped me with my eating and my cholesterol levels, high blood pressure went down and no longer taking medication anymore.
