What bothered me most was how belittling the entire interaction felt. There is a way to tell a customer no. There is a way to explain a policy. You can disagree with someone and still speak to them like a human being. Instead, I got off the phone feeling like I had been talked down to and made to feel incredibly small simply for trying to ask a question. I wasn't rude, aggressive, or disrespectful. I was genuinely trying to have a conversation and understand the situation, and I couldn't even do that because I was barely allowed to speak. For a business where clients are trusting you with treatments and their bodies, how you make people feel matters. After speaking with the manager, I would never feel comfortable coming here for a treatment. I've dealt with plenty of frustrating customer service situations before, but I've never felt compelled to write a review solely because of the way someone spoke to me. The nurse went over how many units she would recommend, and when I said I was used to getting a bit less, she agreed and did not try to upsell or push me into purchasing more. She said if I decided I needed more, I could always come back. The doctor came in shortly after and did the injections while the nurse cooled my face using ice. This felt really pleasant! The doctor applied some arnica to help with any minor bruising that may appear. As I was leaving, the receptionist even offered me pineapple juice which also helps with bruising. I appreciated these small gestures that hadn't been done at other med spas I'd gone to in the past. I highly recommend this place for Botox.

Their front desk is also rude and needs to be micro-managed by patients for anything to get done, such as transferring medical records from my previous doctor. Nidia constantly called me "honey" in a condescending, sarcastic tone in my communications with her. I have seen a number of other dermatologists in the past and have never felt this level of distrust or disrespect with a practice before. I miss my former dermatologist who recently retired. I'm going to switch to telehealth for my dermatology needs. The pricing is much more upfront and clear. I can have a video call with the dermatologist or send them photos of my condition to receive a bespoke diagnosis, just like in-person visits. I can also still communicate with the dermatologist for up to 1-2 weeks after my appointment via chat which is great. I don't work in telehealth and I usually don't promote things. I'm just tired of dealing with unclear costs and an unhelpful front desk.
