She recommended me to Dr. Gansen also of Mercy, only in Centerville. He told me my options and we decided to surgically remove it. The surgery was at Mercy in Centerville. Talk about awesome! The staff was polite and the place was so clean and neat. He came in before surgery and told me exactly what the game plan was. I couldn't believe how many staff they had in the OR just for My routine procedure. I felt totally at ease. The surgery was thorough and a success, I have not had any pain at all. He was very thorough and specific at my follow-up and we were both pleased at the results. Anybody that says there are no good Dr's or facilities in SE Iowa have not used Mercy. Thanks so much for taking great care of my medical needs, I would not hesitate to return!

If no star was an option I would give them NONE. I have been going to RHCHC in Richland for 9 years…read morenow. I have been there through 3 pregnancies and taken all 3 of my girls since they had their first tooth. So, when on this last visit they informed me I was NOT allowed to go back with my 8 year old for an emergency visit- I was completely surprised. This is a new policy they have and it is BEYOND ridiculous! I know adult who are terrified of the dentist WHY IN THE WORLD do they think it is ok for young children to go back alone? They even asked her is she was comfortable going alone and she said "NO" and the assistant laughed at her!! I'm sorry but if my child is to young to complete her own paperwork or drive there AND she doesn't WANT to be alone YOU SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO FORCE HER TO. I even offered to wear a mask & to sit quietly in the corner of the room- so I was out of the way and the staff would NOT budge. PARENTS BE WARNED!
