A good getaway during the pandemic. The getaway cabins are about 2 hours away from Atlanta with lots of hiking trails nearby (min 30 minutes away). It's a nice way to get some fresh air and enjoy glamping as the container cabin has all the necessities from shower, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, bed, and outdoor fire/grill. Super cute for photo ops, but was a bit surprised by the size of the container as I thought it would be bigger but with 4 people it was like playing tetris to move around. Drive was easy except you do lose signal before getting there so be sure to route your way beforehand or hope one of your phones will get signal to find it. Best way to remember is to make a right turn right after the Wildcat Country Store and Diner. Do check the weather in advance and note that with rain, it's super hard to get your fire going outside and you'll most likely cook your food indoors. We did at least get our smores cooked outside, which was the highlight of any cabin trip. And reminder, it is best to bring your own food and for the outdoor fires, they do have all the fire starters, logs, and etc for purchase which is recommended and convenient. While we only stayed one night, the only downside was ants. With all the food to purchase laying around on top of the kitchen pantry and constant food laying around with all the renters, it's probably hard to control but the ants were on our beds that we couldn't sleep comfortably. Luckily, we had some ant bate with us so we were able to sleep half way through the night and probably helped the future renters. Oh and just to warn you, you will be in trump country and will make a game out of counting how many trump signs, confederate flags, and swastika signs you'll see on the way.

Small. But cozy and clean. Best place to get away. All kitchenware available. Good outside chairs and fire pit for cookout.

Within minutes of checking in, the "faux" doorknob fell off. Leaving a hole in our door. My husband went to the hotel to tell them. The guy came straight over. After 1.5 hrs he suggested moving us to a room at the hotel, because he'd have to go to home depot to fix it. We agreed. I looked up the room difference. Rooms for king that night and next ran $119. We moved. And stayed. At checkout they offered me a $39 discount.??? Room difference was $39 a night? They said it was because they were booked and that's the rate? But they were not booked! And it was not my problem the door handle fell apart! They never attempted to fix anything, but the door handle that fell off... and I apparently paid for. Stir clear! Not a relaxing stay!

Glad I dint look at the reviews before we booked, I might have thought this place wasn't good…read more I'm here to report it was great. When I was setting up our wine weekend trip to Dahlonega, a friend said to stay close to the square. After a bit of looking around I pick this place. I decided to go with a Villa, so this review is less about the hotel. And the Villa was great! Just like the pictures, very relaxing porch, cute oft bedroom, and a kitchen that had all we needed. We were at the hotel a couple times though. We popped over for coffee one morning. And on another day we stopped in to do a wine tasting. I don't think the tasting room gets alot of traffic so I was sure to call ahead. We actually ended up getting 2 bottles from there. I did note the good service and a nice hang out porch here too. It was a nice stay and when we make it back we probably will stay here again.

Almost new courtyard in the heart of Gainesville! Located in walking proximity of many restaurants…read moreand bars. Pretty nice building with few quirks. For example, hotel lobby is not on the street level but one floor up, with no specific signs. Parking is plentiful but is not complimentary. Internet does not work well even for elite Bonvoy members which is part of our membership! Hotel is new, but bathtub is straight out of 1950s. Bar is well stocked with lots of servers, but meatballs are straight out of microwave hot on the outside, and cold on the inside....etc. Most importantly - at the check-in point, I spoke to someone who could not spell. As she couldn't punch in my last name in the computer, she asked for ID which is fine. However, making a comment out loud "god lord is complicated" that my last name is complicated is not acceptable, and is offensive. It appears that this hotel is developed by someone who has financial means, and no clue about hospitality. Perhaps they should hire a competent general manager, and remove all illiterate hicks who scoff at everyone not meeting their preferred demographics!

After a several hour drive and spending the day at the hospital we were looking forward to resting. All we got was a woops. They did refund our money. But I was seriously angry. It is not real fun to have to find a handicapped accessible room at 10pm. The last time we stayed there the shower did not work correctly. would not recommend this location.
