Get my smoothie, check out the grab and go cooler, and learn more about what this great spot has to offer. The bulk of their biz is meal prep and nutrition planning - and they seem to have a strong clientele of Rochesterians. They are conveniently located in the Lac De Ville plaza and I was in and out within five minutes. Everyone was SO kind and helpful, and my shake was really delicious. I am a protein powder SKEPTIC. I think it makes everything taste like diet chalk. I am pleased to report my banana shake did NOT taste like chalk, and I downed the whole thing throughout the course of an afternoon. I am grateful for anything that includes calorie counts these days. As I am aiming to be a bit more mindful about how much I am consuming in a given day (and of what!) this is really helpful. Given that we're home so much, I haven't had an issue making time for meal planning and grocery shopping. When we get back to "normal" and time is taken up by events and other happenings, I would ABSOLUTELY consider doing a meal program through PLN. I look forward to the next time I can stop by, and would recommend for anyone in the area looking for a lighter lunch option.

The atmosphere, community, and…read moretrainers are all amazing, but after the experience I had this week I wanted to share my experience as a warning to others considering attending this gym or getting a membership. I have been attending classes since December, which I purchase through class pass. When I started going, I was told it was permissable to stay and complete my workout after purchasing and attending a class (IE attending a strength class, then after running on the treadmill to complete my workout for the day). As time passed I started to meet people and made some purchases at the front desk for energy drinks/ etc. One day I attended a class and after ran on the treadmill (as I had done a number of times in the past). Once I left I got a notification my card was charged for a full day pass at the gym. Not once did someone notify me this occurred nor did I authorize it. I contacted a manager at the facility I knew, and they stated they charged my card as I used gym equipment after the class. I told them I was unaware of this, as I and many other classpass users thought it was allowed. I feel violated in a way because I was charged without any warning and they did not refund the amount. If I had known they were going to do this I would've left and ran outside!

They have a great social media presence, and the website is easy to navigate. No matter your yoga level, there's something for everyone--and if you're not sure, just shoot them an email or DM. They offer a nice series of classes and special events, even on Thanksgiving morning, Christmas Day morning, and New Year's Day morning. The studio has a serene, relaxed atmosphere, and whoever is at the desk always seems genuinely happy to see you. I'm really enjoying coming here for classes and trying new things. If you're unsure about yoga, don't be--it's a safe, welcoming space. They offer a variety of classes, including vinyasa, restorative, yin, and other special classes. Everyone is welcome here. I really like RuckHouse…read more If you're looking for a full body workout (and really, we all should be), head over for a class. It's a circuit training/HIIT style workout, where you roll around the studio and run through a series of different exercises designed to get your whole body moving and sweating and just in better overall shape. There's some work on machines (ski, treadmill, bike, etc.), weights, bodyweight exercises, and more. If you've ever done F45 or something similar, it's not far off, but it's a cool local shop with personable coaches in a clean environment with surprisingly nice facilities and even products in the bathroom for when you're through. Everyone we spoke with from the front desk to the trainers leading the session to the other folks working out seemed cool, and we'll definitely be back when we're in town. Like most workouts (and many other things in life), you get out what you put in. Meaning, if you come in ready to see what your body can do, you'll get a great sweat on. She also has devised a nutrition plan specific to me, my body and goals (now I gotta follow it lol) I have seen more results in the 3/4 months I have lost inches & body fat working at Karved with Kristine than in a year at the other place.
