I can rely on the owner/head mechanic Mike to fix minor to major problems that I've run into with my vehicles. He will tell you exactly what needs to be done and will tell you if your car is still under the manufacturer's warranty, that it's best to get it replaced at the dealer and not pay out of pocket for it. Sure that you would have to make an appointment for that especially on weekends. Anyways, was towed here around lunchtime and once they made a few phone calls around the area for a new one. Just had to wait about 1 1/2 hours to get everything completed. Turned out that I needed 4 . Which I knew anyway, so just had to bite the bullet and get them all replaced. Thanks guys. So glad you were close & not to busy. And yes, saved about 10% on the tires with AAA. Which made this a little less annoying experience.

The manager said he was going to put in a factory Hyundai part for me at a cost of $365 total with labor $487. After I completed my research I accepted the steep price. Something told me to check the actually alternator installed in my car because I knew mechanics that would lie and pull the wool over consumers eyes whom they thought knew nothing about automotive... and I discovered he put in a rebuilt low en alternator. There was no Hyundai stamp or sticker just a dirty greasy bar code. When I confronted him about this all he said was "oh well that's what it is. That's the price" The part cost $100 and they put a 250% Mark-up and a lie on it. My family has been going there since we moved up the block when I 9 years old. And now we will not anymore and told the neighbors and now I'm telling all of you. Helpful?

This is after calling and visiting 3 other places that were supposedly open according to google, but actually decided to stay shut - likely because it had snowed fairly heavily. Anyway, I was lucky enough to get Elton on the phone who told me to come on in for my oil change and I got there 6 minutes later. First, he cleaned the snow off my car. Offered me a seat in the waiting room in the back of the shop. After fiddling on my phone for a bit, I decided to go and check on the status and just as I stood up off the chair Elton was walking in to let me know it was done. 15 minutes, maybe, for the oil change. Synthetic for a 2024 car - was $90. Reasonable. Not do it yourself cheap, but not outrageous either. Honestly, no appointment, weekend, bad weather, arrive and receive service immediately, friendly. I'm literally writing this immediately after leaving because they deserve the praise. Also, there was a beautiful.. I mean absolutely beautiful Chevrolet inside the garage, I'd guess from the 80's, but it could have been late 70. Heck, it could even have been early 90's, I have no idea. All I know is 20 years ago I'd call it a piece of junk but today I couldn't take my eyes off it. Funny how that happens. Anyway, I digress a second time. I had a little problem with my car starting . It eventually did start, and I drove it over to Hylan Auto Repair. It turned out that the Battery needed to be changed. I was advised that it was still under Guarantee, and they honestly replaced the Battery with a New Battery at No Charge!
