They will literally let your skin rot and refuse to see you. Dr Khanda did colostomy surgery approx 4 years ago which had to be re-done 2 days later as I am fat and he didn't get it the first time where an ostomy bag would work but did the second time. Fat is my fault but original reason for ostomy was do to severe neglect and stage 4 GIANT wound from another hospital due to paralysis of yet another doctor who said nothing was wrong with me and sepsis went to spine paralyzing me. Getting care for my ostomy since then has been a nightmare. Over the phone help 2x and 1 office visit in 4 yrs. Learned more on youtube and google. I recently developed severe skin breakdown and they would not give me a reasonably time appt. Just recently asked by another doctor if there was a plan to reverse. I was shocked. No one ever said anything about possible reversible. I just assumed all ostomies permanent. My newest possible appt was to be a month out. Told me go to wound. Wound doesnt do ostomy and directed me to urgent. Urgent said need debrided and a wound doc just happend to be on duty so he went ahead and did but said but they won't in the future and go to ostomy doc as needed repeated in 5-7 days. Kahanda's office again said no and we HAD to go to ER if it got worse. ER would not debride and said ostomy doctor must do and no one on duty that night. still 1.5 wks before the mo out appt. . Norman case mgr intervened. They could not get appt move but said if we went in someone MUST see me. My wound grew 150% worse in 36 hours and was in parts black from rot. Showed them pics when I got there. They refused seeing me and again told the 12th . Wife had to buy curette and wound cleanser and do herself til she found another wound place who could do debridement. New wound doc had some limited knowledge of ostomy but we also needed supplies. wound dr said contact Dr Khanda but we knew to wait till appt 5 days later. We got notification from Dr Khanda's office to sign in on line the morning of for 2pm appt (now a mo later from start). We showed up and they said they had dropped me because wife said she would debride me if no one else was going to. She did not say we needed appt canceled as wife said she would do debridement as no one else would and skin was rotting, black, dead, growing and no ostomy bags would stay on. I need new scripts for all my supplies or waste will literally be hanging out of my belly randomly spewing. New wound care is NOT up on all ostomy supplies as only general knowledge. They didn't even know about some of the ones I had with me. Now I have no ostomy doctor or nurse. They literally will let your skin rot and do not care. Do not go here. Went here for years thinking I was in good hands and after 8 yrs I find out they never did tests and informed me my liver was getting as bad as it was. All I kept hearing was diet and eat better but everything is ok for years. Now have cirrhosis (fatty liver) stage 3 scarring. They discourage patients from asking questions through the portal rendering it useless. They expect u to make an appt anytime u have any which is ludicrous. When u do ask questions they give 3 word answers and never really answer it and lash out at u if u use the portal or push for answers. The support staff are nasty and uncaring. The Drs will neglect ur care and face no accountability. Ur nothing more than a number and $. If u die they'll have another to replace u so ur health is off zero importance to them. It's sickening the level of incompetence and unprofessionalism. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Go to OU GI !! They make you pay 2- $3000 upfront for the entire cost of the procedure. Then they coded incorrectly and say it's elective and you get another bill for a grand total of $8000. I suggest you find another G.I. doctor to do your procedures. Learn by mistake read more

The billing practices of this facility are horrible. They consistently over bill for a procedure, do not apply the payments made on site to your account and try to get you to pay again. When you try to rectify the situation, you are treated terribly. The good care from the doctors is not enough to overcome the hassles. Go somewhere else. read more
