Gentlemen, if you're not so excited to be shopping for maternity clothes --they did have little seating areas --and a restroom! A restroom is a silly thing to add, but not a lot of the stores in Fredericksburg had restrooms and after perhaps drinking a little too much soda it was nice to find one! This is a great store --and if you are pregnant/planning to start a family or perhaps just had a child --this store is a must visit while you're in Fredericksburg!

I went to the store to pick up film I had developed. I waited at the front of the store for…read moreapproximately 10 minutes for an associate to assist me. No one was around. Turns out the associate was down one of the isles, had ear buds in and likely did not hear me at the counter. When he arrived he seemed very confused and was only able to find 2 packs of my developed film. I will go back to the store to hopefully get the rest of my pictures, but after that I likely will take my business elsewhere. The front counter was a total mess...stuff sitting everywhere. Not a very good shopping experience.

(I find chains drugstores wait times are too long, the mistakes are too many and they do not often carry a wide variety of scripts.) My Doctor recommended Stafford Pharmacy that Dr. Kobe Boakye owns and operates. He is the kindest gentleman! He had my medicine in stock, was able to process my insurance quickly and fill my script. Dr. Boakye is clearly a seasoned pro; he explained my medication instructions, availed himself to questions and assured me the current medications I am taking would not negatively interact with the script he filled for me. Stafford Pharmacy is unique from chain drug stores in a number of positive ways. It carries specialty items and offers specialty services that include: delivery, medical equipment, compounding and an assortment of over the counter meds as well as herbal supplements. Instead of my transaction being processed by a teenager, or even a Pharmacist, a Pharmacologist tended to me and the customer service was excellent! In fact, I forgot my insurance card and Dr. Boakye called me himself and offered to drop it in the mail. If you find the wait at Giant or CVS obnoxious and would feel more confident with a gentleman that holds a PhD in Pharmacology...Dr. Boakye and Stafford Pharmacy will become your trusted, primary provider.

Tera has been doing my hair for over 20 years, so that alone should tell you how much I trust her. She takes care of my cuts, color, and basically keeps my hair looking like me. I even followed her from the salon she was at before to Salon 916 when she and Rea opened their new salon. She always listens to what I want, somehow understands the vision even when I probably don't explain it very well , and I trust her completely with my hair. Rea did my extensions, and I absolutely love them. She did such a beautiful job and made sure everything blended and looked exactly how it should. Josie has been doing my hair washing lately, and with the amount of hair I have, that is a JOB . Nicole has jumped in and helped her too, and I love that about this salon. Everyone helps each other, and you never feel like you're just one person's client. They really work as a team. But honestly, one of my favorite things about Salon 916 is just the atmosphere. Everyone is welcoming, funny, friendly, and makes you feel completely comfortable. I've said more than once that I want to come hang out even when I DON'T have a hair appointment just to sit there and talk to them. They've even gotten me into reading books I never thought I would read! Tera, Rea, Josie, and Nicole are all amazing at what they do, but they're also just genuinely great people. I always leave happy, and usually after laughing half the appointment. I cannot recommend Salon 916 and this entire team enough.
