THEN, we had two more sessions, one with a pressure washer, which he used very well to clean old debris from the surfaces, and then with another long session, coated in a very meticulous way all the parts with an oil-base stain. It looks brand new, and feels much stronger on the rails, steps and so forth. In addition to the deck, he gave the same treatment to a set of wood stairs (replacing one step), that goes down for the deck level to the creek behind the house. The electrician came and installed the exhaust fan and had stated that he didn't have any ventilation to hook up to the exhaust fan but all I needed to do it myself was to get the dryer exhaust ducting and connect it to the exhaust fan and the exterior port. After paying a significant amount for this part, he left and I went up to the attic to take measurements of how much duct I would need. However there was no exterior port cut out like he had stated. I called back and customer support wasn't any help and concluded I would need to pay an additional $250 to have this part done on top of the around $600 I had just paid. Another charge that should have already done. What out for this company!! If you do ever use them get an itemized invoice.

We had a tight coordination window with a U-Haul U-Box delivery, the kind of logistics where one late call unravels everything downstream. He didn't just show up. He showed up calibrated. The crew unloaded the container, split the delivery between our apartment and the storage unit at the complex, and then without being asked reorganized the storage unit so everything actually fit. That last part is what I'll remember. Nobody told them to do it. They just saw a problem and solved it, which meant we didn't have to upgrade to a larger unit. That's not customer service as a script. That's competence expressed as care, the rarest combination in any service business. Five stars. And I don't give those away.
