The selection of inventory is tremendous however, after buying this crossbody, I will not be back. I should've listened to my gut when I had to sign a receipt stating no refunds or exchanges. The strap broke after ONE use. So I used a safety pin to still try to get wear out of this $45 crossbody. By the THIRD use, the zipper came completely off the rail, making this completely useless. Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered a necklace and changed my mind shortly after, but this company flat-out refused to cancel the order or issue a refund--even though it hadn't shipped yet. What kind of business operates like this in 2025? No flexibility, no concern for the customer, and zero accountability. It's outrageous that they're still in business with policies like this. I emailed and got no reply; I did an online chat and got no reply; I called the Texas boutique where I was told they would email the warehouse and that I should do the same - which I did - and got no reply. I've been shopping in this store since it opened, but I always get an uneasy feeling when I walk in. I have walked in and the employees been kind and attentive. However, often the 3 or 4 young ladies working are giggling at the counter, and can't even bother to greet myself or my mother. We walk around and the make a b line to avoid speaking to us, but engage with other customers. I've avoided shopping here for months due to these interactions. I went in again today....same situation occurred. As a person or color I'm hesitant to call out discrimination. However, after seeing this the numerous times, discrimination is the only word for it. Similar occurrences have happened with my family who have also shopped here for years. If no one can even bother speak to their customers, I'll simply spend money elsewhere. Disappointing. read more

Not sure what's with the bad reviews so here's my take on my first visit, I called ahead told them I had an exchange online order looking for a specific size, she got the style numbers from me I was exchanging but she didn't find the styles in my size I let her know it was fine I'd go in from Cypress to check what they have, when I walked in they were really busy, my husband and I were greeted then we browsed, when I went up for my exchange the girl I spoke with found the shorts I was looking for in my size and saved them for me and made my exchange extremely easy, they were all nice and friendly especially for how busy they all were! I sent back two items and had a store credit online. When I ordered one item a few weeks later I still had about a $25-$28 credit left over. Well when I was ordering another item I entered the credit code to use my remaining credit & the code did NOT work. I emailed GUG twice asking about my remaining credit & never heard back from them. If I could review with a zero or negative number rating I would. My family members has bragged on and on about how cute the clothes are. On my recent visit to her house, we stopped by Giddy Up Glamour in Bryan. I purchased 2 t-shirts @ 5:00pm, they stayed in the bag until the next morning, to which I put one on to wear on my trip back home. There was a hole in the shoulder. The store has a policy that if their store tag is removed they won't accept returns. I reached out explained the shirt hadn't been worn, and it wasn't purchased late in evening, however, I was on my way back home (4 hours away) is there something they could do. CUE THE HORRIBLE ATTITUDE, LACK OF ATTENTION, AND NO CONCERN STORE EMPLOYEES AND STORE OWNER. Any email I send either isn't answered, or ignored for a couple of days. And they are refusing to exchange because the tag is removed. Again, I understand the policy, but it hasn't even been worn. I also brought to attention of the store owner that one of her employees was talking about how she comes to work, puts on shoes from the store, and wears them all day. I guess since the tag isn't removed that's not considered used, and can sell them. They did offer to "Fix" the t-shirt, as opposed to just exchanging it. Ugh what a pain this store has been. They will definitely lose this UNHAPPY first time customers, and my very frequent customer sister isn't happy with how they've treated me on my first visit, and won't be back there either. Below is my email correspondence with owner of BCS location. Please read from bottom to top to understand better. I waited two for just a email response and my concerns were not met. I will not be shopping there again. Please keep in mind my article of clothing had tags attached and was defective and never able to be worn. There turn around time to address the problem is ridiculous when they sold a defective item. Hello Pam, Thanks for your email. I apologize for the delay. This is definitely outside of our normal emails so the girls here did not know how to answer and left it for me. I just re-read your message to be sure that I cover all aspects. Our policy allows you to bring them back and exchange for same item or another item IF the tags are still attached. So that explains why the young lady on the phone gave you the info you described. And then I'm assuming that when you arrived at the store, the associate then saw that the tags were not attached so she relayed to you the correct info for your situation. As I mentioned this is outside of their normal to deal with so they gave you all the information that they could. If you would like to send the item back here to me I will take a look and if they cannot be repaired we will replace with the exact same item. When she went to put it on to wear, she sat down to put on her shoes and one of the straps from the overalls came loose. When she saw that it wouldn't stay fasten because the metal clasp had broken, she had to take it off and wasn't even able to wear it. The clasp should not have broken on her. I feel it was defective. I called the store and a young girl answered and when I told her what had happened, she made it seem that all I needed to do was bring item in and, I could exchange for same one or get something else for same value. When I went to the store, the assistant manager told me she spoke to manager and all they could do was send off item to be repaired and then give it back to me. This was it what was said on the phone when I called about it. She stated this would take about 2 weeks. I told her my daughter leaves to go back to college and, I didn't feel it was fair for me to have to be out additional costs to mail to her for her to have to wear at school. I also checked and there were no more smalls in this item to exchange for. This item cost 42.95 before tax and, she was not able to wear it. It broke the first time she put it on. The quality should be better and it should not have broken. It was never worn and never washed and was still in same condition as the ones in the store only problem was our clasp broke. I feel given the circumstances as a loyal customer whose has shop there frequently over the years, at the very least a store credit or exchange should be given. I also feel you should have the original receipt of the sale as, they are had written on carbon paper to show proof it was bought there and the date of the sale. Given the time frame of how long it takes to get back from your repair office of two weeks doesn't allow her to take with her before she leaves for school. It would have to be mail which is an added cost to me. I don't feel this is fair to the customer to expect them to have to be out more money and have to wait to be able to wear an item. She has not been able to even wear it once as of yet. I am hoping you can make this right since, I feel the clasp on the overall was not of good quality and should not have broken so easily. I am reaching out hoping you can see this from our perspective as a customer who has spent hundreds of dollars over the years in your store. I hate I even have to reach out to you but, I can use the item we purchase and the time it takes to get repaired doesn't allow her to take with her. This is the first time I have had a problem with an item I have purchased from his store and, I hope you can make this right. More than unimpressed with this store today 11/14/20. Workers were rude and their dirty looks made my friends feel self conscious. No help finding anything or with any suggestions. First off, they do not wear the masks when they think no one is in the store. Now I have been in so many times and decided to finally stop after I felt bad about my self for looking at their clothes. They make my self esteem go lower than it already is. If you don't fit a specific type, they basically ignore you and try to not help you. The manager Courtney is the worst. I want to shop at the one in Waco instead, because the times I went there were better. Knowing she manages that one too now, makes me not want to shop ever again. True dress I have bought from them started to fall apart 3 months after I bought it, as well as the shoes I bought. I would give this business, especially it's owners and managers, zero stars if I could. I used to be an avid customer at Giddy Up Glamour, and over the past months I have seen a major decline in the amount of customer service this entire company has. Recently, Giddy Up Glamour has over charged my card two incorrect charges that have result in over $200 that has be taken out of my account. When contacting the company with trying to resolve the issue, I was told there was nothing the staff could do because the manager was not there. In additional to that, I was told by the staff that their processing system "overcharges customers all the time". Given being a business professional myself, I understood and gave the staff my contact information and asked for their manager to contact me. Over a week later, I had received a text message from the manager stating that it would take anywhere from 10-20 business days to refund my account. I then called the number I had received a text message from, to ask for a copy of my receipt stating the $143 that I rightfully spent, not the additional $200+ that was charged to my account, so that I can dispute it with my bank. When I spoke to the manager over the phone, she said she would send me the copy of the receipt via email. Instead of calling, she had texted me instead stating that she had "emailed them to me but can also send them via text message". I am extremely unimpressed on the professionalism of the customer service I have received. I feel as though the managers and the owners have taken the minimal steps necessary to resolve this situation professionally. I will no longer be shopping at this boutique and I would discourage anyone to shop at Giddy Up Glamour in the future. read more
