I have been seeing Dr. Olga Kuzina there for a while now…read more She is extremely thorough, in fact, if you desire to meet with her first before you make an appointment for a physical which you have to book months ahead, she will literally almost perform an ACTUAL physical there - after she speaks with you about any health concerns you might be having. I literally asked her if she was giving me a physical, lol - because she checks EVERYTHING just during a first initial visit. Reflexes, your abdomen, ear/nose/throat - actually your teeth!!, because she noticed I had 4 implants etc. She will also do paps etc but I see an excellent nurse practitioner that Dr. Kuzina knew from UMass in Milford OBGYN for 14 years now. And now they have a system where they can exchange all that info electronically even if they're not affiliated-which is always a plus. She does that little initial check of you, after spending almost 40 minutes just getting to know you. She's outstanding. She states she always does that so when you see her for physicals (which I did) and other visits like a sore throat - it's like she already knows you because she stated she wants her patients to be extremely comfortable with her. Her physicals are a little longer than most, but she's just very conscientious. If you're worried about blood and labs, she eases your fears. Note that she's on the second floor but you'll have to sign in on the first. You'll love her. Such an empathetic physician.

The care I received from Jake and Maddy were good and a pleasant experience. However, the front…read moreoffice gave me incorrect information about my insurance benefits. This was my first PT experience and I was told that I was going to have a $40 co-pay per visit, which I figured would be like my PCP where no deductible was at play. Even on the intake form, I initialed that I only had a $40 co-pay per visit. I ended up visiting 5 times and every time they took a $40 co-pay. More than two months later, I unexpectedly get a bill for $400! I called the billing office and they confirmed that I was given incorrect information about my benefits by the office staff, and that my deductible did apply in this case. Had I known that and had knowledge about how much each visit was going to cost me, I likely would have not scheduled additional visits and continued my rehab at home. Even though the billing office confirmed that bad information was given to me, they were unwilling to make it right. They are leaning on their disclaimer form, which makes them harmless for any mistakes made on their end. It's too bad patients don't have that type of protection. I have a pretty standard BCBS plan from what I understand. After the first visit was billed and paid, the practice should have notified me that my benefits were not as they were presented so that I could make an informed decision about future visits. Instead, they continued to only collect a co-pay and not notify me of the applicable deductible. I'm going to pay the bill but I wanted to post today to warn other patients to check your own insurance coverage prior to going to this practice. Additionally, I suggest that you inquire what the service fees and contracted rates are for your insurance coverage so that you can understand what potential patient responsibility you might have in the case that that they make another error in reading your benefits. Despite the good care, I will not be returning to this practice due to their unwillingness to right a mistake. I was willing to split the difference with them and pay $200, but they declined. Very disappointing.

She wanted me to choose between two medicines. When I asked questions about the possible side effects, she had to get her phone to look them up. In the end she prescribed a drug that contained sulfa which I'm allergic to (I had made it clear during the conversation that I was allergic to sulfa drugs). Before I left she wanted me to have a urine test for a baseline. When I questioned what it was for, she responded to see if I was using drugs!! I told her that was a waste of the insurance company's money and my time. I don't drink, smoke or use drugs. She asked me to wait to see if I needed it -- she was gone for over 10 minutes! In the end, she determined I didn't need the urine test. She forgot to call in the prescription. It took five days before I finally got them to call in the prescription to the right pharmacy (they sent it TWICE to the wrong pharmacy even though I corrected it after the first error). Worst experience ever! I asked to speak to the one in charge of NPs and the head of the clinic but received no call from either one.

She even believes she knows more than primary care doctor. It is very upsetting that people have no choice bout to be treated like this and continue to go here. Find another place !!!!!

I have never had an issue with insurance or money issues myself as was written in another review. What I have had is excellent and consistent care/support from front desk folks to all the medical professionals. From my middle 40's to now middle 50's I got hit with many health issues including cancer. I never had to fight them when I wanted to see a specialist outside the network that I had found, never had a problem getting in really quick when either my body or just 'my worry' needed it, and I felt like all the visits thorough enough in this day and age for Primary Care being overloaded everywhere. Their computer system keeps good track of all going on with me that they check up on when I come by. For example, I had been to 2 neurologists for migraines before starting to see Dr. Kohler. The specialists from major hospitals had suggested all kinds of the 'newest' headache remedies that didn't work. Dr. K. suggested a more traditional one from the multitude available and it has worked as an incredible 'relief pill' ever since sparing me suffering and time away from work. As a Clinical and Behavioral Health Psychologist in the area I also have heard good feedback from my patients about this practice concerning other health providers there. Just my two cents. Best. Recently my insurance has changed and I provided them my new insurance card and visited doctor for physical as well as sickness. To my surprise I received full bill from this office telling me that they are not part of my insurance network. When I asked why they did not tell me that before visiting the doctor, they said it's not their responsibility. Come on, it's not the issue with some part of the service was not covered, but they were not part of the network at all. I tried to negotiate with my insurance provider to pay that bill which was denied after few months. Then I decided to settle the bill with tri-county and requested them to give me some discount as I was paying from my pocket. They rejected my request outright and sent the bills to collection. Had they told me initially that they were not part of the network, I would have not visited their doctor at all. They knew that they were not part of the network and did not tell me before or after my first visit. They told me after all my visits were done and put me in big financial trouble. I am not going to visit this office again, but writing this for the benefit of other patients that may get into this trap.
