He went through my whole coin collection which the other place didn't do. He was very patient with me and answered all my questions regardless how silly they were. This seems like a family run business with lots of repeat customers who like to chat. Not only did I feel like I got a fair deal, but I actually had a pleasant time while I was there. The box was unattended, and he believed it was available for customers to browse. As soon as an employee informed him of the mistake, my father immediately stopped and apologized. Unfortunately, the situation did not end there. The employee raised his voice to my father in front of other customers and staff and continued to berate him even after he had apologized multiple times. What could have been resolved with a simple explanation instead became a public confrontation. My father is a 76-year-old disabled veteran, and the continued hostility was upsetting enough that he began experiencing symptoms related to PTSD and felt he needed to leave the store. We left immediately and will not return. My father made an honest mistake, acknowledged it immediately, and apologized. He did not deserve to be treated with disrespect. We have always had positive experiences at other coin shops where we were treated with professionalism, courtesy, and respect. Unfortunately, our experience here was the exact opposite.
