BEWARE OF TIKTOK AUCTIONS with GiftExpress. I have bought 4 items over the last 3 weeks, and I have been on the live auctions MULTIPLE times a day for the last 21 days. The thing to be weary of if you do participate, but not why I'm PISSED. Some of these auction prices end up higher than the actual website pricing, which completely defeats the idea of an "auction deal." Most people probably aren't stopping to compare because the lives move so fast & on top of that they have fake accounts they use to push up pricing which honestly wasn't even a problem my eyes. HOWEVER!!! The thing that COMPLETELY LOST MY TRUST... was they were running a $1 auction on the same perfume in a multiple sequence row, and the bids start out at "$1". They lost money on two they ran prior, one selling for $55 and another at like $45.. and so they snuck in a starting point at a much higher price than what you can get online started it at $70... so I'm hitting the $1 bid button actually ended up being $77 dollars with me being the only bidder... praying someone else bids for the dreading 10 seconds left. I noticed it happened earlier on a product I wasn't bidding on and thought it was a glitch and no one had bid on that one that the starting point they did was $115 when it's suppose to be $1. Then it happened to me... and I noticed it happened to a few others today. The entire experience felt SCAMMY and keep in mind... I had been hyping up their products and building up their trust to others on my platform... and look, idgaf if they drive up the prices, it's an auction, BUT DO NOT SCAM PEOPLE like that. I ordered a Maison Francis Kurkdjian fragrance from Gift Express and unfortunately what I received was a fake. The box had a batch code, but the bottle did not -- something that every authentic fragrance has as standard practice. The sticker design was wrong, the "Fabriqué en France" lettering was exaggerated, and the QR code only showed a random number instead of linking to the brand. The scent itself smelled strongly of alcohol and was nothing like my authentic 200ml bottle from Bloomingdale's, which I compared side by side. I've since done more research and provided extensive evidence showing this is counterfeit. Buyers should be very cautious -- it seems Gift Express is selling fragrances that are not authentic. Customer service was horrible. The package status was "label created" for 7 days. When I questioned them they blamed UPS and said UPS never scanned it. They said they would not contact UPS to start a claim even though they claimed they delivered the package and UPS said the opposite. UPS suggested that I request a refund or dispute the charge with my bank so I requested a refund because it felt like a scam. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this company. There was much more (like I purchased an item that was in stock, but was informed it was out of stock when I started questioning the whereabouts of the package) the back story to this made this experience much worse. I ordered 3 bottle of Eternity for women by Calvin Klein. I've been wearing this perfume and only this perfume since it came out in 1988. The perfume is NOT authentic and DEFINITELY not Eternity. I've been wearing it long enough to know the real thing. The Eternity printed the bottle is NOT the same (it's a lighter shade of gray nor is the sticker in the bottom).
