My husband and I stopped by here on Saturday around 4. We've never been to a Gigi's before so we were excited to try. We got a 4 count and it was $21 and some change. I got the confetti cupcake and the triple chocolate. My husband got the coconut and the key lime. The confetti cake was amazing. The triple chocolate cupcake was HARD and crunchy... I only took one bite out of it and had to throw the rest away. My husband's coconut cupcake was grossly sweet and the key lime cupcake tasted so artificial and nothing like key lime. The service we got was just ok... she seemed like she hated her job and didn't want to be there and was lacking basic customer service friendliness. Could have just been having a bad day which is fine but my rating is mostly based off the cupcakes we got. We tried Smallcakes a few weeks ago and I'd just recommend going there instead of Gigi's sadly. read more

My first time visiting this location. The service was great. The cupcake not so much. I get the chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake anytime I go. I bought two, for my husband and I. We were really disappointed. I think they forgot the sugar in the cupcake and it was very dense. I'm starting to wonder if it was gluten free and sugar free. I did not see anything indicating that. The frosting is supposed to have a brown sugar taste just like cookie dough. It did not taste like anything. Left a crisco taste in my mouth. I was assuming the cupcakes would taste just like the Savannah location, but no comparison. I don't think I will re-visit. Definitely not worth $10.56 for two cupcakes. I hope the person that is baking, tastes them periodically. These should not have been sold to anyone. Such a shame. read more

I quickly made my selection and was on my way home to enjoy a delicious strawberry cheesecake and banana pudding cupcake, one of my Gigis favorites. Service is always great here. Yay, the Gigi's Cupcakes in Pooler is finally open! This is the perfect place to curb your sweet tooth. The woman behind the counter was very pleasant and answered all of my questions! It was a little after 2pm and the woman mentioned it was a very busy day so there was a smaller selection to choose from than normal. I got an original cheesecake for my husband - he said it was delish. This is the first time I came across cheesecake at Gigis! I also ordered the affogato cupcake - it was amazing! Definitely my new favorite! The balance of the vanilla cupcake with coffee tasting icing was so delicious. We also got a cookie dough cupcake, which was also very yummy! If you like icing than this will be your kind of place. All of their cupcakes have a TON of icing! Everything was fresh. I'll definitely be back and I'm so happy to have this in Pooler! read more
