From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by the staff. They have a variety of different French pastries to choose from and everything looks delicious. If you are a fan of macarons then this place is definitely worth stopping by. I ordered a Belgian chocolate macaron and a Madagascar vanilla macaron as an afternoon snack to complement the afternoon champagne my hotel offered. It paired perfectly. Each macaron was perfect. The texture and flavor were on point. One thing that impressed me about this business is that they have maps of Savannah and Tybee Island that are available on the counter to help you find your way around the city. This cute little shop was a must go to when I saw it. Macarons are my favorite sweet treat so how can I say no. ? Idk if he was the owner but the man that helped me was so kind and welcoming. All the flavors they had looked so good so I decided to try a 6 pack. I got the biscoff which I believe he said was gluten free, Belgian chocolate, Colombian coffee, lemon, pistachio and hazelnut or praline chocolate (I can't remember the exact name). They were all so good and the shells were baked perfectly. Hard outside, soft chewy inside and each filling was the right amount, not too much and not too little. I didn't like the praline chocolate one because it almost tasted like peanut butter and I'm not too fond of peanut butter sweets (even though I know it wasn't peanut butter). The pistachio, biscoff and lemon were good, I'd give those a 8/10. The lemon one wasn't too tart but just enough to give it that perfect lemon flavor. My two favorites that get a 10/10 were the Belgian chocolate and Colombian coffee ones. The chocolate one had a strong flavor which is apparent in Belgian chocolates desserts. Very decadent and rich. The Colombian coffee ones was the winner overall, the filling was more mousse like, super creamy and pillowy. Strong coffee flavor which i loved. I wish I could have gotten more of those, but I'll be back soon and will be stopping by for more and to try other treats. read more

These Macarons were good but not great. They are very thick and more cake like than a traditional macaron. But I also realize this is personal preference on my part and the flavors were good. We tried: lavender, lemon, orange chocolate, rose, tiramisu, raspberry and mango. Our favorites were lavender, tiramisu and lemon. None of the macarons really tasted like the flavor they were listed as. They were good, but just had more neutral flavors. read more

It's a cute little clean store that offers some variety other than macarons. We got a small box which wasn't cheap but we were on vacation. From the time we entered the gal behind the counter seemed irritated that we were there. Granted, I entered with four kids, but if you don't have customer, you don't have a job. I am a baker & we make macarons at home, my son was disappointed that they were a bit cakey. Not to say that mine are "correct" or "better" they are just more airey & that is what he is used to. Baking is a lot of "personal preference." Makes it kind of hard to rate. The merengues were enjoyed by all & the painted chocolate was very pretty (we didn't try them or the other pastries, so I can't rate them). Overall, I do not think I would return. So the lady on the phone was so sweet and told me my raspberry macarons were fully in stock lol. I can ask the way from Hinesville to try this place out. Paris ruined me raspberry macaron so was excited to try it here. Oh wow they were amazing!!! She was so great and sweet. I got the $30 cause I couldn't resist. Kind of pricey. Yum! I consider myself a macaron fanatic. I've had many different kinds from all over the world. When I took the first bite I looked at my mom and said "this is what a macaron is suppose to taste like!" So many flavor options and they all have a fresh, pillowy texture. I was walking down on Broughton Street with my family and I noticed a Macaron shop. I love macarons so I wanted to stop in just to see the store. I told myself that I wouldn't make a purchase, but after I noticed the pumpkin flavored Macaron and I was sold. I love the fall season because everything is doused in pumpkin. I purchased a single macaron for about $2.50. I took a bite of the macaron and just as I thought the flavor of the pumpkin was just right. The pumpkin macaron wasn't overwhelmingly artificial or colored with too much orange food coloring. I think this is a great stop for macaron or sweet lovers. Overall this store deserves an A. The macaron was excellent, the store is clean, the macaron case is enticing, and the prices are relatively equivalent to other macaron stores. Pitfalls the store front of this store isn't very visible. If I wasn't pay attention I would have walked right by the store. read more

It was my first time in Savannah and as my friend and I were shopping along Broughton St, we came upon Le Macaron. I came here three times in a day and a half. This establishment was clean and tidy, and they had gelato, macarons, and hand painted chocolates to ogle over. I only had the macarons and was also kindly given glasses of water when I requested. After exploring the city in 95+ degree heat and who knows what kind of humidity, I came here for a cool down. The staff was friendly and didn't mind this northerner sitting in the back enjoying her sweet treats in the quiet shop. The macarons are an absolute delight!! They are like pillows with a delicate crunchy and flaky exterior. The macarons I tried were: coconut, mango, Colombian coffee, raspberry, pistachio, passionfruit dark chocolate, and vanilla. We stumbled on this cute little shop after lunch and it was perfect timing! It's so bright and cheerful and smelled good! My husband is't a fan of macarons, but they also have gelato so after sampling a couple of different flavors, he got the coconut gelato. I tasted it and it was delicious. Lots of bits of coconut and so creamy and rich! After drooling over the many choices of macarons, I settled on pistachio macaron for me.
