I very strongly do NOT recommend Karen Saylor NP. I feel I received near malpractice level care…read morefrom her. Her lack of attention to details of my health issues and concerns as she treated me over the past year was appalling. She put me on an extremely high toxic dose of T3 thyroid medicine that has made me extremely ill. I was never informed of what to watch for in the way of reactions (to this med or any of the many supplements she had me take). There is another Yelp review where the same thing was done to another patient. I also received almost no guidance or support in the process of tapering off the meds. I had to pay $25 to ask medical questions. Her answers were always to suggest something I was already taking or something I had already told her I couldn't take as if my chart wasn't even checked. I did not find her care 'integrative'. There was no talk of mind, spirit, or nervous system regulation. No checking with symptoms. Everything was based on $$$$ in labs which were treated with $$$$ in supplements. Her focus was pushing energy when what my system needed was gentle support and nurture.

I forgot to mention that even from the initial contact that I had with DeMarcus for scheduling, I…read morefelt completely welcomed. He is extremely compassionate and made the booking process very seamless for me. I was in dire need at the time, and he saw to it that I was seen as fast as possible, keeping my availability as well as theirs in mind. Interacting with the team at IMC NC has been nothing short of comforting and miraculous!

Sonia is an amazing doctor with a wonderful "bedside manner". She helped my family in so many ways…read morethat I could probably write a book about it. The thing I love is that she takes the time to listen to what is going on, asks the appropriate questions and gives sound advise. She is extremely ethical and though she suggests supplements that she thinks will help you, she doesn't actually sell the supplements to you. You can take advantage of a discount through an online supplier that she, herself uses. She made my six year old son feel comfortable, as well as me and my husband when we went to see her. Her rates are extremely reasonable and since we don't use health insurance it doesn't matter that she doesn't take it. Actually, we saved money by going to Sonia and paying out of pocket instead of giving our money to the health insurance companies so we could go to regular doctors and not be cured.

I booked a "Therapeutic Table Massage" with Shannon Trudeau and had a very traumatic experience…read more When I arrived I explained to her I like firm pressure and was having issues with my shoulders and neck and upper back being very tight and I would like to primarily focus on those areas. The first 30 minutes of my massage were her guiding some sort of yoga nidra exercise with no actual massaging. I had to ask her when the massage would actually start. She seemed to have a huge ego about the request and continued her guided exercise. Once she did start "massaging" me, it was just her placing her hands on my body very lightly and doing static holds on trigger points. I explained to her I would Like more muscle stimulation in the form of a faster deeper massage but she didn't listen to my requests and kept doing the things she was doing that I did not ask for. She didn't pay attention tho the specific areas that I came in to address and spent most of the time on my arms and legs. She talked the majority of the massage and kept instructing me to take deep breaths. I do not come in to this for a therapy session which is what it felt like. The table was cold and so was the room. I had to ask her to turn the heat on the table mid session because I was freezing and her hands were freezing. She did not seem to have any knowledge of anatomy, massage, or draping. After the session was over she sat me down and wanted to go over her "findings" and it felt really uncomfortable having someone tell me all the areas in my body she noticed I was tight but not actually using the time I paid for to resolve any of those issues. I did not book a trigger point massage, a reiki session, or a therapy session. I mentioned to her multiple times I was not wanting the type of "massage" she gave me and she said that "energetically we may not be a good fit" - in my option this is such a rude thing to say to someone who was very clear about the massage I wanted to receive and requested it multiple times only to be completely ignored - probably because this person is not educated enough or capable of doing actual massage. This practitioner is borderline harmful and should not be practicing any healing modality. I felt disgusting after leaving her session. I felt completely ignored and judged. I debated weather or not I should leave this review but after experiencing this I wanted other people to know the potential harms of booking with this practitioner. Please remove her from "therapeutic table massage" because she didn't actually massage me and this is really misleading for customers.
