EDIT: He keeps flagging my review to prevent other customers from seeing the damage he's caused to my car and poor quality work under the premise that I'm seeking more money. Not true. He also blocked me on facebook and hid his reviews. Guilty. He doesn't want to look bad. I'll keep posting the review. He is a liar. Horrible quality and workmanship. But decent Customer service. I had my brand new 7 day old vehicle tinted by Nick. He mentioned it'll take about 30 days to fully cure. I realized that's false. It should never take that long to cure in arizona weather. He left significant amounts of debris, bubbles, and filth in the tint. The biggest issue is that he advertised and I paid for nano ceramic tint but he LIED and used a low grade horrible quality DYED carbon tint. The tint is now turning purple. (See photos) I expressed this to him, he lied and said it will go away (not true), I pushed harder and he refunded me for only the windshield since he was caught in a lie. However it will COST ME MORE to get it removed and reinstalled so either way I'm in the HOLE. He offered to remove it, but what person in their right mind would go back to someone who intentionally LIED and sabotaged their new vehicle? However, that's NOT the end of it. He caused severe damage to the door window. There is excessive rattling and wind noise in the interior and it is so loud/deafening, irritating, and annoying everytime I drive. It is also embarrassing when I have family in the vehicle. I took it to two dealers and Because my windows are tinted by a 3rd party, the dealership is NOT covering it under warranty. So that will cost me MORE out of pocket expenses which I technically should sue for in small claims court against his business since this is not my fault. I notified the guy again and HE DID GIVE ME A REFUND however, he asked that I remove my HONEST EXPERIENCE. Because he had a guilty conscience for what he did to my brand new car. I'm adding them back because I have to live with this noise NOT him. I'm not doing this for more money, but because I have every right to freely express my experience, but I may consider taking legal action. So please go elsewhere. I'm extremely unhappy and disappointed with his work. He intentionally damaged my car and attempted to scam me. read more

I needed an upgrade on my vehicle stereo system, from the stock equipment which was in the vehicle. I had an equalizer and new speakers installed. There was great communication with Nicholas during the process from beginning to end. I shopped around other places for vehicle stereo upgrades and there was as much as a 40% difference in total cost between the various businesses I researched, with the exact same brands and models I was deciding on. After reading numerous reviews, I felt comfortable that I was not being sold cheap products or subjected to sub-par installation work. I went with Gilbert Tint not only because of the pricing, but I did not feel pressured or rushed in my decision making process. I am more than happy with my decision I made in going with Gilbert Tint. After completing the stereo job, I also inquired about getting the original vehicle tint replaced. Nicholas said he noticed it was about time for the tint to be replaced, but he did not want to mention it to me, as he does not like or want to initiate an upsell with a customer. He explained the process and the costs involved for the various window tints. After installation of the new tint, I was happy with the finished product. Upon opening my windows for the first time, after a longer time period than was recommended, I noticed a small corner of the tint did not adhere properly and was starting to peel a little. I contacted Nicholas and informed him of this. He set a time for me to come in and have it taken care of within a few days. He came in earlier than he opens the shop for me to meet with him and have the tint addressed. Nicholas took care of the tint and explained to me why the tint had started to peel. I would recommend Gilbert Tint to anyone who asked me about the tint work or the stereo work I had done. It was so nice to not feel like products or work were being pushed on me. read more
