Spoke with the owner of the flower shop today & she didn't offer any kind of remedy for what happened! She did make the excuse that they delivered the flowers to the big church instead of the chapel, when I explicitly told them the chapel when I ordered the flowers! The chapel is literally right next to the big church, same building! Either way they were late because going from big church to chapel takes less than 5 minutes! No explaining why Star Gazer Lilies, my Mom's favorite flower, wasn't in the arrangements? She said next time I had an event to ask for her & she'd take care of me~I think I've ordered flowers from a florist twice in my life & do you really think I'd trust you to handle another event? I would have rated a 0 if I could. I had used this florist several times before with no problem. My sister-in-law is going on 95, so getting flowers is a special event for her. I had ordered a premium bouquet for mother's day for her. They said they delivered, but when her son went to check if the flowers were delivered, they weren't. I called and talked to the owner, she said she would take care of it. She didn't, she knew that my sister-in-law was older . She finally got some flowers, but not the premium bouquet we ordered. She offered to bring more flowers to her, but she never did. I called back several times to get this worked out. But the never follow through. I have disputed the charge, I would not recommend using this flower shop for anything, unless you like having someone (owner) making promises and not delivering. read more

I have now used Frank at the Gilroy Flower Shop about a half dozen times but since the passing of my Mom, I'm a lifer! Frank does a beautiful job, the best in town honestly. Also, if you're sending flowers out of gilroy his prices are really really fair for delivery. Inside Gilroy and his prices for delivery are really superb. What I love about Frank is that when I dropped off my Mom's photo for her funeral flowers, he showed me some orange baby roses that came in and he added them to arrangement because of her orange shirt. I've been going to Gilroy Flower Shop for years. Not only for their great selection of quality flower arrangements but also their friendly service. In my most recent transaction I ordered two dozen Ecuadorian roses and while I've been going there for years without any issues, I was not entirely satisfied this particular time. I placed a call to them (just as an FYI) to inform them I was not satisfied and to my surprise they offered to not only fix the issue but also to pick up the arrangement and re-deliver it. I was not expecting that at all!  It is my belief that things happen and everyone (including businesses) car have a bad day. In this particular situation it appeared to be beyond their control. It's how you bounce back and take care of your customers that is important. They did exactly that. The gentleman on the phone (apologize, but I forget his name) made it super easy and asked all the right questions on what my wife liked in regards to flowers. While the flowers I received from my daughter for Mother's Day were absolutely beautiful, I was not pleased to open my front door to accept delivery from a woman less than 2 feet away who was unmasked, during a global pandemic and asked me to sign for my order using my finger on her cell phone in the signature box. I answered the door, not knowing who was on the other side, but I keep a mask nearby to quickly put on to protect whoever it might be. Had I not been so surprised by that, I would have asked her to leave the delivery on my porch and as far as signing for it, she could have simply taken a photo with her phone to verify that she'd made the delivery. Again, the arrangement was lovely, but please have your delivery people follow the now county mandated face covering order to help protect unsuspecting people whose doorbells they ring. Two stars given for the unfortunate surprise of possibly being infected by a virus on my own front porch by someone I did not invite. read more

I ran a search for local florists and Gilroy Flower Shop had good reviews so I decided to use them. After a look through the funeral sprays pictured on Teleflora's website one was picked out and I called the florist to set it up. They were very knowledgeable about the location, where the service would be held outside and promised to have the arrangement there an hour before the service. In less than five minutes it was ordered and paid for. Today we arrived to find a beautiful arrangement that looked way better than even the one on the website.
