Long over due... Two and a half years ago, Gina's did the flowers for our wedding. We gave her a palette of pale and light pastels that we were interested in. And that we liked roses... They did everything absolutely amazing. From the men's corsages, to the bridal bouquet and the cake topper. It was all fantastic. It's hard to describe how incredible these arrangements turned out. I had a very particular aesthetic in terms of colour, structure and types of flowers and Gina worked closely with me to help actualise my vision and in some cases, set the record straight when the flowers weren't available or in my budget :) on the wedding day, I was floored by how beautiful the flowers looked. Our family wanted to send my Aunt that is passing a large beautiful bouquet of flowers to enjoy while she is still here. To remind her of how much she is loved. I know very little about wedding planning but was still in charge of securing some things for my sister. I called several local florists, but none were as helpful as Gina! Gina was able to specifically answer all my vague questions [like how many petals are needed for a short aisle], guided me through the process of floral wedding needs, and provided truly beautiful arrangements. Gina provided the flower-crown and the bouquets and corsages for my sister's wedding, as well as the petals for the aisle and the flowers for the cake. Despite being swamped with multiple weddings and graduations for the same weekend, she was flexible with my sister's last minute needs, too [her wedding-cake-baker needed more roses than we originally provided]. These are things that I would want to know if I was considering using Gina as a florist: * Pro: My fiancé and I signed our contract with Gina in March 2021. At that time, Gina was very detail oriented and took the the time to understand my vision and the flowers I wanted. * Con: in early September 2021 (about three weeks before our wedding), we asked Gina for an updated proposal because we had added a few items. At that time, she also increased the prices of items in our original contract by almost $700. She just sent over a revised contract and did not flag to us that she had increased the prices (if I hadn't been paying attention, there is a chance that i wouldn't have noticed the price increase). There was NOT a clause in our original contract that allowed her to increase prices nor was that ever communicated to us in any form (I double checked all of our communications and contract). Due to the inflexibility of Gina and the close proximity to our wedding date, we were forced to pay the updated contract price. * Con: my flowers included a color (lavender) that was not in my color scheme. My guess is that the "dusty rose" flower appeared lavender but Gina should have confirmed that with me as a I specifically said I didn't wan't lavender. My wedding coordinator had to remove these flowers from my bouquet. I understand that everyone has been affected by prices increases and financial instability due to the pandemic. We personally lost a lot of money due to our cancelled destination wedding. I do, however, think that breaching a contract and including an incorrect color in the flowers is unprofessional and unacceptable from a wedding vendor. read more

Wow! Gina truly outdid herself for our wedding! I met with Gina and provided her with some Pinterest boards with ideas before the wedding. We got married in September 2018 at Red Barn Ranch in Hopland. The flowers were delivered to us the morning of the wedding and two of Gina's assistants set everything up. They stayed until after the ceremony and moved large arrangements for us so we didn't have to worry about it. We had two large arrangements at the end of the isle that we put next to our sweetheart table and the large arrangement from the arbor went on our table. Also, we had small hanging arrangements on shepherd hooks down the isle that were moved to our tables and used as center pieces. Everything was done beautifully and professionally. I had no idea how much the flowers would add to the beauty of the day until everything was put together. Everything was exactly like I wanted it and beyond the beauty that I had imagined.
