We felt like we owed him with all the services he includes with his packages! We met with John and Tony and it felt like an elephant left my chest after we left our first meeting. They answered all our questions, we seen videos of previous events and they gave suggestions for games to get the guests entertained before dinner. Days before the wedding i was so scattered brain, indecisive and changed my mind on so many songs and nothing was a problem they updated everything immediately and assured me that everything would be fine. I didn't feel like they were a vendor i felt like they were FAMILY. The patience, thorough communication, suggestions and support was more than expected. Anyway enough about them. The day of we had John, Tony and Rico and you better believe they had backup upon backup upon backup! They came early to set up and greet us. Once the reception started people were non stop dancing. Dancing, dancing, dancing dancing. Their light shows was a huge hit as well. They did such a great job people didn't want to leave when it was over because the music was so good!! Phenomenal! I'm still getting text msgs telling me about how good the playlist were. And honestly that was all John, Tony and Rico's doing. I can't thank them enough for truly making the day amazing!! Remember music is utmost important when it comes to a party and you will be ecstatic and astonished when you choose Dimensions in sound!!!

Then, we we saw rain in the forecast, he was very responsive over the phone in helping us with workarounds in case it rained. At the block party he played great music and was super accommodating with all of our karaoke choices. Their equipment all worked perfectly. The karaoke screen was easy to see, the speakers sounded great, the volume was spot-on, the microphones worked perfectly, and they even set up disco lights for us when it got dark out! Super fun. Everyone really enjoyed having him there and we would definitely hire him for next year! His prices are very reasonable as well. Finally, John is such a nice a gracious person. I really enjoyed talking with him while they were setting up and tearing down their equipment.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is going to be a long review, so here's a brief summary…read moreof my experience. We ended up terminating services with Bill 10 days before our wedding due to the lack of communication, unprofessionalism and the disregard for our requests. Money was tight leading up to the wedding, but we knowingly cancelled services even though we would still have to pay in full because of the lack of confidence we had in him. If you're still reading, please prepare yourself for my experiences with him: We booked Bill the summer of '24 for our wedding that just took place a couple of days ago (April '25). We talked to him on the phone, and he presented himself to us with quite the ego. He kept telling us that he was the best, he was a professional and that everyone loved him. We were also told that he would provide us with links to his work, but no links were sent. We still picked him because of the good reviews. Fast forward to the end of March, I reached out to Bill about 2.5 weeks before our wedding because I had not heard from him since we booked him. I asked to do a phone call meeting to go over everything for the wedding, and I sent him a very detailed schedule/notes to look over prior to our call. On the day of our scheduled call, he indeed did NOT call me like he said he was going to. Instead, I waited 20 minutes past the scheduled time and then I called him. We talked on the phone, and we did not go over much for the wedding because he told me that he did not even look over any of the notes I sent him. I was pretty frustrated that he was late (if you can call it that, since I had to call him) and unprepared. I marched on and started asking him questions to which his replies were "don't stress," "everyone loves me," "I've done this before," which is exactly what every stressed bride wants to hear, am I right? He was very condescending and overtly dismissive throughout the entire 10 minutes on the phone. He then goes on to tell me that he has a music list of over 2,000 songs that he would like us to go through for the wedding, and I asked him to send me those links of his work that he talked about at the initial booking call. After this call, we went through the list, and it said to return completed 2 weeks prior to the wedding day, which was only a couple days from when we received the list. Not only should we have received this list probably months in advance, but also the spreadsheet was literally labeled "Copy of Songlist - 2010." The label was very accurate because there was not a single song on there from after the year 2010, and the spreadsheet sent to us had markings on it already, which showed us that this was probably someone else's sheet. His behavior and lack of preparedness did not instill any semblance of confidence in us. We looked back at our contract, and it said we would owe him the full amount if cancelled within 60 (!!!) days prior to our event. Keep in mind the 60 days because it will be important later. We decided to keep him because it was super last minute to find a new DJ. Due to the lack of confidence, we decided we needed to meet him in person to go over everything before the wedding, so we sent him another email to schedule that. We were very specific on our availability times (ex. "Wednesday, April 9th after 2:30pm" etc), so there would be no confusion. Low and behold, there was confusion. I was emailed 20 minutes after the in person meeting time one week BEFORE we were actually supposed to meet stating that he was waiting at the Panera. We were very confused and reminded Bill that our meeting was not for another week. He proceeded to tell us that he drove an hour and a half to meet us and if we could still come by. We replied saying that we had other obligations, which is why we did not list that date in our availability. This was the final thing that pushed us to terminate services with him. He was not reliable, prompt or able to follow explicit directions. It also showed me that he did not save my phone number because he only communicated with us over email when the meet up incident occurred. This meant he was never going to call me for the initial phone call meeting, and we never would have chatted if I did not call him. When we sent our concise termination of services email to him 10 days before the wedding, he replied very unprofessionally. His email was riddled with spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors to which we deemed no reply was necessary. We decided to eat the price and find a new DJ to which we are so happy we did. One day before our wedding, he sent us an invoice for the remaining balance, which we knew we were going to pay. In his note attached to the invoice, he wrote that we signed a contract and had to cancel 90 days before the event. Bill obviously did not even read his own contract because it said 60 days in the one we signed. We paid it, but we would definitely recommend to NOT book with Bill. Literally find ANYONE else.

My then-fiancé contacted her via email rather late notice (1 month prior), set up an appointment to meet her at home, we met with her and chose the "parts" to the ceremony (we mixed and matched a handful of commonly said things she already had), gave her a cash deposit on the spot, and were out of there in an hour! A day or two later, she emailed us the entire ceremony that we had discussed in her home, allowed us to make some changes via email, and that was it. We didn't hear or see her again until an hour before the actual ceremony. She made sure to find us at our venue, gave us a couple pointers, and told us to relax and that she would be giving us cues, which she did very subtly and professionally. Even one of our groomsmen asked us later, "Where did you find her? She was on top of things!" For those of you looking for someone to guide you through every detail, she might not be the one for you. She's rather hands off, but she is pretty responsive via email. Like other officiants, she will charge extra if you want her to attend your rehearsal, so we orchestrated the rehearsal ourselves. She is also really a good soul. Although she has a church background, she is very open and accepting of all humankind. We were not picky about our ceremony - just that it be non denominational and short! But in hindsight, I'm glad we chose someone with such poise and experience! Working with her was truly effortless and inexpensive! I highly recommend Rev. Denise!

He had the entire room dancing all night so we just we went up to him and got his card. It was still in my wallet 2 years later, so we called him and set everything up. We decided to get married at a restaurant called Carnivale and rocked it! His name is Jesse. He's very organized, VERY professional and VERY helpful. We told him what we wanted and he delivered with ease. He will offer tons of suggestions to make your wedding as special as possible and he didn't disappoint. In a sense, he kind of works as a day of coordinator to keep things on schedule. We LOVED him. His cost was $1000 which was pretty good for his service. He doesn't charge for working over a few extra hours and his basic package includes his state of the art sound system, 2 wireless microphones (which one did temporarily stop working during me reading my vows but he made up for that with his service), access to this really cool website that allows you to create a timeline for your event, add music that you want to play or don't want to play, and set music to play at certain points during the wedding. We were so confident in Jesse that we paid him in full up front but he only requires I believe at least 25% deposit and the rest before or at your event. We got nothing but positive feedback from our guests about him. One of our friends was shocked that he wore a tux because DJs typically don't do that. The music was the best hits of the 90s, early 2000s and whatever else we wanted to hear. There was even a woman there with a leg brace on that refused to sit down because the music and mixes were just so good! We'd definitely hire DJ Persist again and we are so glad we picked him. If you are contemplating, do it. You will not be disappointed!
