Important: as independent agents (vs. captive agents), their goal is to learn about what the client needs, and then find the best ins. co. & coverage for that client. That's what best for the client. Conversely, a captive agent (e.g. Allstate, Am-Fam, State Farm) needs to fit every client into one of their policies (from a limited selection).
