The receptionist was polite and helpful with letting me know the process. While there is ample parking, the doctors office is a bit obscure. If you are facing the street it's to the left. The in-processing was standard. I paid my co-pay with a credit card and I was in the examining room within 10 minutes. Dr. Tilles is a very nice man. Bless his heart for what he does cause I dont like feet but he jumped right into the examination. He recommended that we do an xray. The nurse comes and puts these booties on me. I followed her to the xray and surprisingly I had to stand on it. I'm 218lbs I knew this wouldn't be good for anyone. But it didn't break. Praise the Lord. The nurse escorts me back to the room and in minutes my xray was on the wall. The bones on both baby toes were pointing inward. This shift is because of the pointy shoes I continuously wear. He recommended surgery with a local anesthetic and would let me know how much the insurance would cover. In the meantime, Im only allowed to round toe shoes. Overall it was a good visit. Dr. Tilles was very informative. There is a chance that I will get a second opinion to explore the possibility of a non-invasive solution.

For most of my life I've dealt with ingrown toe nail issues! Waking up in the middle of the night in pain and having to dig a damn nail out (that I couldn't even get too)! Not being able to wear certain shoes or my feet hurting in sneakers after my workouts! Never wanted to really address it cause I really like my feet!! lol .. luckily mine did not effect my actual toe nail it self it (so it was easily to put it off) .. It was just on the inside corners of my big toes!! When I tell y'all I cried when I saw she took this nail out my foot!! So much relief mentally!! I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt and presuming she was under pressure to see a lot of patients as quickly as possible and this explains the careless treatment I consistently received. She was usually very unclear in explaining things and in too much of a hurry to answer questions, which she would sometimes refer to her assistant, who was also clueless. The whole office was horribly run. No one live ever answered the phone. You had to leave a voicemail. Calls were usually not returned the same day. It could take days to set up an appointment. After a visit, I often got a followup survey about my experience emailed to me. But when I filled it out and tried to email it back, I would get an error message about a server problem. Every single time!!! Nothing about this particular office works! Truly an awful experience! So glad to be done with them. Used to be so much better.
