Went here after seeing them on Channel 5 news, with the Bling Bling Hawks shirts. I picked up a great Hawks hat with Bling and put my Hawks shirt on order. Love this place. After driving by this place every day on my way to work and being REALLY excited to check it out- I was not a huge fan. Prices were kind of high for things I thought were not necessarily worth the prices. The selection was definitely small. The employees did not greet me right away. The hours are weird. Some of the stuff is cute but I think overall, I'm not understanding how you can support an entire store on stuff that looks like it belongs in a small section of a larger store. Anyway, I gave it two stars because I'm sure it has a niche and its own following; I'm just not a part of it. Also, they didn't really do anything to offend me, they just didn't really do anything to grab me as a customer either. read more

I got on Yelp to find the phone number and I was shocked to read the other reviews. They have always been welcoming and friendly. They have tons of merchandise. This store is awesome!!! I had a purse party at my business and that started me going to Girlicious. They have such great purses.. Almost every time I go shopping (even Home Depot) I've been complimented on every purse I've ever bought from Girlicious. I tell everyone who compliments my purse that they have to go to there and even take the time to explain were they are located. They have really cute jewelry, glasses, pictures ect.. I am SO OBSESSED with Girlicious!! They have such great merch and prices you can't beat. Customer service is 10/10. You walk in and it is as if you've known the staff for years. The boutique is easily accessible (storefront on Madison St.) and once you get in is organized and easy to maneuver within. I walked in the store and said I was looking for a light weight black tote. Without hesitation the staff brought me over to the purse section and helped me narrow down my selection without me having to go through each black tote, and weeding out the heavy bags. The staff helped me find the right bag for me in minutes. As a girl on the go, this is something I have come to appreciate-- owners and staff who know what their customers want and know their products inside and out. After finding the right bag, I spent almost an hour in the store looking throughout the store. Everything in there catches your eye! They have girly, sassy items. As a professional, I have had no problem finding items that transcend "weekend-wear" to accessories for my professional attire. I saw this shop while driving to the highway and I couldn't wait to go in. After all I am a girl and like the color pink, which is good because most of the items in the window had this theme. When I first walked in, I was immediately hit by the strong smell of pink bubble gum. On nicely glass tables, purses and wallets and other knicknacks were laid out in a very orderly fashion. Thinking this was just a teast of whats to come, I started to further look around the store at their jewerly. But as I surveyed the shop I realized that that was pretty much all that was there. Purses, wallets and knicknacks. According to their website they have wedding planning services and Girls Night Parties but I was interested in shopping and there wasn't much there to entice me past the table of wallets (that were overpriced) at the front of the store. read more

Cool shop! Nothing is too pricey, but prices are generally healthy for the quality of what they sell. In other words, you're not going to find a stitch of leather on a purse; the hats & scarves and cold weather accessories are man made materials and clothes are mostly made of poly blends, albeit, they're cute!That said, there's a lot of copying of styles of premier brands and fashions are definitely fashionable, so there's a layer of temptation there that's daunting. It's so easy to spend $200 on 2 vegan "leather" purses and a poncho wrap. It's a happy place with bright and stylish merchandise sold by young women who vigorously try to sell this stuff, which is why they're in business in the first place! read more

I would love to leave a review based upon my shopping experience, but I wasn't afforded that opportunity. Despite the sign stating store hours and a sign stating that the store was open at the time, the doors were locked. I was attempting to shop at 11:20 a.m. on a Saturday. Too bad too, looks like neat things to tempt me. I highly suggest that the store either change their listed hours of operation or abide by them. read more

I'm a first time shopper at Girlicious. I was very surprised at the large variety of items available for sale. Everything from handbags to hammers and all very girly! The staff was so helpful and friendly. I bought a couple of items...buy one full price and the second item 1/2 off (lesser priced item). I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this store! I haven't physically walked into the store but i had a wonderful experience with an order that I made about 3 weeks ago. I was looking through pictures of their items, wanting a purse for the summer. I emailed some questions and the owner, Ivy, emailed me back right away. She helped me in every way possible and even sent me pictures of items that I was asking about. Her customer service is absolutely WONDERFUL! I am a customer service manager and I get very disappointed with many places today that offer poor customer service. Not Ivy, for sure! I complimented her via email because she deserves HUGE kudos for staying involved in her business and her wonderful items. My new purse and watch came right away and they were PERFECT! Girlicious has been one of my favorite stores in Forest Park for years. The selection of purses, wallets, hand-made necklaces and other items is out of this world. I can find everything I need right in the shop, or the owner has been nice enough to seek out items for me. She is so dedicated to the business and treats everyone in the store like a family member. This dedicated service is definitely what sets this store apart from other boutiques. You won't find snobby or bored employees there! Having fun is all Girlicious is about; you can tell from the minute you walk in. I came to this store today after eating at the original pancake house down the street. I was with my 4 year old daughter and 1 year old son my sister and her 3 year old also. I saw the store while I wad driving there and was very interested in the Chicago bears shirt they had and as I was walking in I also saw some other stuff I liked. But my daughter needed to use the bathroom so before I began shopping I asked if I could use it my response was " well are you going to buy something?" And I said " well I am planning on shopping after she uses the bathroom" her response " so you're only here for the restroom?" I look at her confused BC I just said I wanted to shop. She than proceeded to tell me there was a washroom at the McDonald's on the corner to go there. I couldn't believe my ears not only was it rude but it was a little girls who needed to use the washroom I informed her that I was very interested in the bears shirt but she just lost my business. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone ever and I will never step foot in here again. Worst customer service I have ever received anywhere . I am giving it 1 star BC even though I was treated rudely the merchandise was cute there's no denying that if you don't mind getting treated like shit I recommend coming here!!! read more
