He was punctual, reliable, adhered to his quoted estimates and project timing, friendly, provided daily updates (if the project spanned more than a day) and provided great input/ideas for our projects. The lines were clean and the paint covered the old color (vibrant pink and sky blue) fully. This took at least three layers of paint (primer and marque one coat paint). I needed someone to come patch up the framing and structure of our new windows and front door. Guillermo really delivered on his motto - trust, reliability and getting the job right. The job site was always clean, he was good communicator all through, always texting the work progress, we trusted him to make our space beautiful and he did. Guillermo and Roberto were very conscientious, respectful to our house and our cats (!) Guillermo strives for quality and making sure the end result looks right. Some of our paint colors didn't provide good coverage so he had to put numerous coats making sure all looks fine. We also loved the convenience of receiving electronic invoices and be able to submit our payments online. Overall, despite the stress of living in the place that is under construction , our experience with GL handy was great. Installed a light fixture and limited patching after in Manhattan Office - were recommended by the landlord. Although neat and clean this was not a difficult job. We found the fee for service to be excessive (more than double what we paid for the light - the price charged for patching is, in my experience comparable to what would be charged to paint an entire room) - Just not worth it. There are many competent people out there who are affordable - this was way out of line. Would not use again. read more
