He then proceeded to try to force them into her mouth and grind away at the denture and the molars on them with a Dremel tool trying to make them fit. They still didn't come close to fit, and because of the Dr. shoving them into her mouth she developed a growth that she had to get surgery to remove. He was then supposed to refund the entire amount of the dentures so she could go get them done somewhere else. It has been 3.5 years and he has not refunded the full cost. My wife has no dentures and now needs another surgery because of his negligence and wrongdoing. Do not go to him for anything. He will do you more harm than good. Because he never refunded the money, insurance will not help her get new ones. At the end of five years she is eligible for new ones and we are pretty sure he is trying to get away with this and keep the money.

The extra procedure they did on her was $1,000 extra and they had no problem billing that amount. The extra procedure took 3 days to recover from and I would not have said yes to it. I called several times to speak with a manager and despite leaving messages with people and on voicemail, the manager never responded. I just got calls from the front desk asking to be paid. When I told them that I was changing dentists and wanted to leave with no bills they said I was squared up -owed nothing. Months later they called me about a payment that they found I owed. I could go on and on, but not worth any more of my time. This place is overpriced and unprofessional.

I think if she didn't talk as much it would've been faster. This was a full 2 hour appointment. Even getting a root canal I've never been at a dentist for 2 hours. They "offer" fancy stuff like paraffin Wax, hot wraps, movie glasses. But I say offer lightly. I was offered the hot wrap but nothing else. The massage chair is just an uncomfortable vibration. No thanks. All that has to be paid for somehow. Their prices make getting necessary work done impossible from a cost perspective even with insurance. They're super out of the way too. Ok, this is going to be a lengthy review! Sit tight…read more I left another practice in Anchorage because of miscommunication. I do not hide the fact that I am not a fan of dentist offices. What helps me with my anxiety is trust. I like to see the same person again and again. So, a little mix-up at previous office has caused me to no longer feel confident about the dentist. I figured I should empower myself to find an office that I can learn to trust practitioners again. Libby Group didn't have that much of review and that was my first doubt. But I am so happy to trust my instincts and some friends' word of mouth. I went for it and made an appointment. First, the office is really very cozy! They are not fancy with the TV and being able to watch Netflix while getting your teeth cleaned (like my previous office) but I have found that establishing trust and good relationship with my dentist to be much more important eventually! The office also has AMAZING view of mountains, OH MY! I thought that my first appointment would be an hour or less...WRONG! I filled out a very comprehensive personality traits questionnaire then was schooled very clearly about my oral health after examinations. They used a tiny camera to take pictures of my teeth and an iPad to explain what work needs to be done on that particular molars. I have never learned so much about my own oral health in one sitting. Enough to want to do better for myself. Dr. Libby is a tall, friendly, and warm lad that I have come to slowly trust. He openly admit that he will not be perfect but he will always try his best and that is enough. I asked them to keep the same people: assistant, hygienist, and doctor whenever I come in. They are happy to oblige to that. I have been there for three separate visits. Lastly, my few favorite things about the office: cool outdoorsy swags you get after your visit, not having to sit for long time in the lobby which makes my anxiety much worse, and staff greeting me in sign language whenever I come in! FYI: I currently see Nikki for my cleanings (this chick is awesome! I feel like she's on my team to help me have healthier gums) Dr. Libby as my DDS, and my all time favorite assistant Kristen who is an angel FYI. I honestly didn't know dental office take deposit for appointments, like is this a lash or nail appointment which that requires a deposit? Shortly thereafter Dr. Hyer retired. In the year and a half since then they have not hired a practitioner who is able to perform the surgery. Despite repeated attempts to receive a refund I am told various reasons why they just can't get around to it. For example the office manager is not authorized, or the owner has to approve it, or they have to check the records, etc. This is been going on for months. In my opinion it is unethical and unprofessional to take a patients money for a particular service, then fail to provide the service, and then fail to address the return of the deposit.

When I made the appointment. They were concerned as to whether I was in pain or not. I let them know I wasn't in pain but it was uncomfortable. I went in for my appointment and from the front office to the Dentist, Dr. Lehneis and the two assistants, Rachel and Kang were all so professional, knowledgeable and kind. The whole time, they were concerned as to whether I was uncomfortable or feeling pain in anyway. Also, the cost was not as much as I expected it to be.
