The Ragu on home made tagliatelle was so beautiful, not to rich like some other you night have had, but able to taste all the flavor in the dish. A special if you can get it they were trying out here was the Chewapchichi (Cevapi), a form of Kofta / Meatball made in Chef Anton's Croatian style. That is not the Meatball that is on the menu in a soft tomato sauce!!! We had a "Happily Ever After" event for 50 at our home on October 4th. It was held outside…read morehowever, due to covid. And I am so pleased with how easy everything was that we rented for our event! Based on their excellent website, I had a good idea of what we would need...a soundsystem for our music, a cordless microphone because it's hard to hear outside, a raised square platform for two people to stand on, a bouncehouse for the kiddos (bonus they had a castle shaped one for our Happily Ever After theme!), a dozen wooden benches to put on the riverside deck for seating, and chalkboard arrow signs showing the way. It only took 10 minutes in person, plus a deposit to get it all reserved. They called closer to my event to remind & assure that all was on schedule. They arrived with their professional truck 2 days before my event and delivered it all, showing me how everything worked. The written instructions for the boucehouse were helpful and it was easy-peezy to put it up (it also came with it's own tarp, stakes, and large cushiony cube to enter it easily). The helpful delivery guys gave me a quick tutorial on the soundsystem...that also was easy-peezy come showtime. (We just made a pandora playlist and played it through a cellphone, another person made a Spotify list and that was used after) The written instructions in the cordless microphone case made that process just as seamless (people could hear us just fine, even being able to speak over the music--hello karaoke later!) The benches were lovely to use during the ceremony, then transitioned easily to our eating tables, and then later around the firepit. All the rental prices were extremely reasonable and it just couldn't have been any easier. All we had to do was make sure the bouncehouse stayed dry! After our event, we left everything stacked safely in our driveway right next to the house, and they came and picked it up while we were at the airport seeing family off. Talk about convenient! If I ever have need to rent anything again, they're going to be my first call. Their website is extremely handy to see what they have! The quaint 100+ year old updated cabin was clean and stocked with all our needs, including a surprise anniversary basket of goodies! The host was especially friendly and responsive to our needs. We literally lived on the porches enjoying the morning weather, hummingbirds feeding and incoming changing weather patterns across the sprawling pasture. While some may feel the rare vehicle passing on the nearby gravel road is a negative however, we took pleasure in waving to the campers on Spotted Bear Rd. Chilly evenings were quickly remedied with a roaring fire in the antique fireplace. THE place to unwind after a busy day exploring Glacier!

Ice capped peaks as far as the eye can see, some glaciers, lakes a waterfalls can be viewed. Easily one of the top helicopter rides we've been on. The reservation process is a bit tricky and played by ear. You get an initial confirmation then a second confirmation the night before. We were able to book the day before and they were very accommodating. The weather is highly variable in Glacier Park and understandably they may have to cancel depending on the weather. However it worked out for us.

Our pilot was amazing, knowledgeable, and didn't take risks (which I appreciated!). We did the one hour tour, I think the half hour would be way too short. If the weather is bad, they will cancel for safety reasons, so we were blessed with beautiful weather. A must do.

Yes the rooms are small, but is not the Four Seasons. You are also not going to be spending much time in here. The proximity to everything in the Swiftcurrent area is second to none. If you compare the rooms to the Many Glacier hotel, they are the same size at a much higher price. Almost 2 times more. The space in the bathroom is tight, but there is a bathroom, unlike the cabins. The shower never ran out of hot water. Daily room service was great. They refreshed the room and towels. I have nothing but great things to say about this place and am thinking about booking it again next year. Just know you need to book a year in advance to make sure you have the dates you want. What did I learn today? Trip Advisor reviewers have it all wrong.
