She was incredibly warm, fun, and easy to talk to, and somehow understood our vision with very little direction. We were going for a boho chic vibe, and she absolutely nailed it. Lisa was also refreshingly flexible and honest. She worked within our budget without ever upselling or pressuring us, which we really appreciated. Communication was excellent throughout--she was responsive, easy to reach by text or phone, and just genuinely great to work with. One detail that meant a lot to us: my husband was able to drop off specific glass vases we wanted her to incorporate, and she seamlessly worked them into the design. When we saw the florals on the wedding day, they completely exceeded our expectations. My bouquet was vibrant and stunning--it truly made the photos. What an amazing discovery!…read more My coworker's husband suddenly passed away, and I wanted to get her a sympathy bouquet to share my condolences. All the florist websites were charging ridiculous prices, and a lot of people didn't receive the exact bouquet that they ordered when ordering online. I stumbled upon Maria's Amor's Instagram page and found them to be perfect! Compared to all the other florists that I contacted via social media, they were also the only ones that responded promptly. After I sent them a sample picture of what I wanted, they were able to 'freestyle' the bouquet and customize the colors. The price that they gave me was also reasonable, and they were extremely flexible with the pickup time! After sending them a deposit, everything was set, and the entire process was crazy smooth. The interior of the shop was so cute, and they have tons of extra items to go along with your bouquet! They also have a rack of premade bouquets with set prices if you ever need one last-minute for a certain occasion. The worker who helped me out was so polite and friendly, which made the pickup process very easy. It's located on Harvard St, which has a couple of other shops but limited parking spaces. During this process Wedgewood was extremely helpful, and their service had already been stellar even before the pandemic. Due to continued restrictions, our wedding had to be done outdoors only, and this location does not have the right set up for that. So Eddie, their manager reached out and spent time giving us all the options so that we can have our wedding this year. Without hesitation and without extra fees, he was able to relocate our wedding to another venue that that had outdoor setup and had the same dates available, all for the agreed prices from before. They had options to postpone to next year as wells Menifee Lakes was our first choice for a venue, and for those of you who are considering a wedding in 2021, we highly recommend this location. Their main hall has a beautiful chandelier that just adds a very rustic look to your ceremony. We are sad we could not have our wedding there, but are so excited and happy they were so flexible with changes due to COVID!!
