They even have a contest -- the patrons get to vote who has the best costume. All-in-all it is a well respected, and well established hair salon with very good people working for them. This week, I decided to try them again when my regular person was on vacation as I had a meeting coming up. I called and the scheduler suggested tonight - Wed at 5:30. I asked if that was too tight on time since they close at 6 and that I could make Thursday- their late night. The Scheduler said Wed at 5:30 would work. I showed up early at 5:20 pm and the salon was closed. This is not the first time this happened but it will be the LAST. I am disappointed because I knew the owner and his cousin. My friend wants to try them for her wedding next year - I would not recommend it - unreliable.

I had the strangest experience here. I was getting a coffee outside Nordstroms and noticed the…read morevideos playing in the windows of this salon. It looked like extensions, or wigs. I am experiencing hair loss, the cause is not definite. But it is ongoing, and according to doctors probably will not improve (just the opposite). So I went in and asked if I could make a consultation for a custom wig. The next week I met "N", who showed me a "hair topper" , think hairpiece with clips that blends into your hair. It was a piece that was available right then, It was beautiful, right color, quality real natural hair. But it was not quite enough hair and if she cut it for me- it was mine, I'd have to pay for it. I was willing to wait and pay for custom. The prices she quoted were reasonable, and I was glad to have something exactly right for me and my low hairline ( no bangs). I was so happy when I left I tried to tip her ( she's one of the owners?) , or buy her a coffee/pastry next door. This is where it all crashed. "N" gave me her cell number: "call me next week, I have something coming in I think will be right for you ". 3 calls over a month, she was never available. Finally, last phone call, she told me to come in later today. Like just later, no appointment. When I arrived, of course she was busy with someone else. I was happy to wait, not offered chair or water etc. She brought out a hair topper that was smaller than the original one! I reminded her, no bangs. The color was dark! "N" said she can dye and cut it. It was a completely different experience than the first time. She seemed very cold , and aggravated with me. This salon was not a warm inviting environment the first time either, no one shows you where to sit or offers you anything. But this time I felt humiliated. Im in a very vulnerable state. And it was so uncomfortable to look in the mirror, at this horrible thing on my head. She was very dismissive of the idea of another topper or wig. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.I'm so disappointed. I have photos of myself from the first consultation and I naively thought "N" would help me. I feel worse now, I wish I never walked in. I am so interested to hear other's experiences. I'm so confused about mine.
