I'm still amazed you were able to throw together this look in the dark!!... I went in for my appointment a few days ago and the Owner Jackie's power had just gone out due to the rain. I had a photo shoot with my daughter that day and Jackie was gracious enough to push through and do my makeup with cellphone lighting and the final product was stunning!! This place is tucked away and may be hard to miss but i'm glad I saw a sign on the street indicated there was a makeup store nearby! Immediately when i walked in, i was welcomed by a gentleman, which was the owner (fiancé)! I was super impressed that they had RCMA and Parian spirit brush cleaner, something i normally buy online. They sell house of lashes falsies, NYX, Crown brushes, L.A Girl, and some other random brands (the cheaper end). I will definitely be returning when they have a greater and variety of stock on some brands. They offer event makeup, classes, and other services like waxing so you can get pampered all in one place. Make-up application prices vary depending on the occasion but starts at $65+. Price was reasonable and items are sold maybe a couple dollars higher than online but you are able to purchase conveniently and be able to enjoy such a cute store. Great place! read more

I booked a makeup appointment online for my daughters prom 2weeks or so in advance. I received an email and text messages that my appointment was "under review" a day or 2 later it still showed under review so I called the business. Where the owner stated that she had seen it but just hadn't confirmed cause she wasn't doing the month of May yet. My daughters Prom and makeup appointment was on 5/5/23. Finally on 4/26 I get an email confirmation as well as a text stating that my appointment had been "accepted" but all of a sudden on 5/2 I get a text saying my appointment had been cancelled. I quickly rebooked and then called the business where Jackie answered and explained that she hadn't been doing good health wise and that she had been cancelling all her appointments lately and didn't want to leave us high and dry. Are u kidding me?! I'd say 2 days before our event to cancel IS INDEED leaving us high and dry. Then not even professional enough to call and speak to me directly to explain and just to send an automated text message saying cancelled?! Really? I had to reach out snd call to find out what was going on! If she had been "canceling her days lately" then why accept the appointment only days before just to cancel 2 days later? I was furious! Communication needs definite improvement as well as professionalism. Two days notice of cancellation for a life event as important as prom is unacceptable. read more

Today was my second visit to Glam powder room. Its a cute makeup store. There is a parking lot right behind the store to park in. And there is street parking in front of the store. My first trip to the store I came in on July 4th because they were having a 20/30% off sale on some makeup that I wanted. I wanted to get my brows done that day and figured because I was there maybe someone could squeeze me in but I was told because of the sale that they could not do them. My only issue with this store is the lack of products. They have some good products link pinky rose, rcma, crown, and la girl but for me to come back I would like to see way more brands. My second visit was today and this is why Im giving them 3 star rating. I got my brows waxed today by one of the artists there. I believe her name is Corey. She was really nice but she did a horrible job on my brows. Im not sure if she is new because she asked another girl more than once about my brows which made my suspicious. And the other girl she asked came over to make adjustments to my brows. After she was done and I expressed how much I disliked my brows she did ask me if there was anything she could do to make them better. Which was nice but if I already told you that you jacked up my brows why would you think I want you to mess them up even more. Based on this I would never let her do my eyebrows again.
