Now, I have been in 70 degrees below zero F. when I was a kid living in Alaska...but I was also wearing a parka! The therapy lasts 3 minutes. It really is interesting feeling. Not terribly uncomfortable. Supposedly, it will give you lots of energy but since we chased this experience with Mexican food, I am a pretty sure we confused our bodies...were we looking for energy or a carb coma....??? Hmmmm.
