I was able to get a same day appointment for tooth gems. I feel like everything was explained well and I can recommend this location to others. There's a three month warranty for the tooth gems and I can go back three times within three months if any issues arise. read more

I visited Glam Smiles on July 2, 2024. During my visit I was thoroughly impressed. First let's talk location. Glam Smiles is located in a fairly busy location. It is on a high traffic street but there is parking available in the back of the building. This is a huge plus and shows an appreciation for customers visiting. Second, The establishment is well maintained, EXTREMELY clean, and has a beautiful aesthetic. The decor is inviting and suitable for creating a calming atmosphere. Third and most important......customer service.......Sherrie greeted me with a warm welcome as I entered. She immediately started to attend to my desires for our tooth gem session. Sherrie was informative and patient. This was my first experience and she made sure I completely understood the process step by step. With every question I asked she maintained professionalism as well as being personable. This made me excited as well as comfortable with the procedure. She was very hygienic during the entire process. I watched her disinfect the gem station prior to me entering and before I left she disinfected the entire area again! Win! Win! For me, I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to cleanliness. Sherrie informed me of the best options for my desired look and her expertise in her craft showed during my session. After care procedures were addressed thoroughly and repeated for clarification. My only suggestion/concern......if I have to have one......, would be to have a form with after-care instructions for us 'Aunties" with limited memory. I am so happy with my first visit and whitening results at Glam Smiles. Sherrie was extremely thorough and explained everything she was doing throughout the whole process. Everything went so smoothly; she even talked me into scheduling another appointment for a tooth gem (I am beyond excited for this)! It is so clear how much love/passion she and her business partner have poured into this place and I'm so happy to support them. No just no. There is no one that can truly do lashes here. Save your money and go to another place. It's horrible service and the 'owner' had me on the table for nearly 3 hrs and I walked out with 4 lashes on each eye. She shouldn't even offer that service if there is no lash tech here. And there should be some kind of licensing for the lash extensions. She did not wash her hands when going between myself and 2 clients. read more

3/17 It saddens me to leave a review like this. I've never had such an unprofessional experience after trying to rectifying a situation. On 3/10 I received teeth whitening and lash extensions. The teeth whitening was fine but my lashes are extremely thin. I've gotten lashes on and off since 2017 as a classic set(I wear glasses...I get the same style each time). As someone who receives this type of service over the years I know what a classic set of lashes should look like. I spoke with Sherrie who did my lashes and she informed me that since I waited 7days there's nothing she was willing to do rectify the situation stating that shedding has already happen. Now I'm aware that shedding is normal but I have minimal if ANY shedding at all. During our phone conversation she stated she could fill them but I would pay the standard price. When I expressed that was unacceptable and I wouldn't mind paying half but the option was never discussed. She stated that I was rude but as a customer I was expressing my discontent, that doesn't make me rude. I've managed and worked in several customer facing roles over 10yrs so I know what customer service includes and how to handle a displeased customer. She also tried to overtalk and cut me off during this conversation saying "what do you want me to do?!" "I'm NOT going to give you a refund and I'm not going back and forth with you" I stated I would like to have my lashes filled properly. She then proceeded to state I would still be charged full price for a fill then turned around and said she didn't want to do my lashes at all. I honestly think she wasn't willing to admit the mess up that day I got them them she seemed tired and overworked, I was also tired myself so I wanted to get out of there. I think she assumed I wasn't understanding the process saying that I didn't have full lashes. While my lashes aren't super full I know I have enough to achieve a classic set....somehow every other lash tech over 3yrs has been able to complete this service with no problems except her. And lastly to address why it took my 7days to address my concern I thought "Eh maybe it'll grow on me" and I've also been busy dealing with a death of a parent so there's that. At the end of the day it was poor customer service when speaking with her about the situation. At 12:50 I received a call to reschedule with a different lash tech and pricing. At this point I just want my lashes done correctly. Again when I asked for clarification she got defensive and said "I'm the manager on duty so whatever I say goes" that's not how u treat a customer while trying to fix an issue. I was informed another lash tech would do my lashes...ok no problem! She tells me the other tech has different prices a classic set being $125. They were going to waive of $25 for the lash removal and credit me for cost of a fill being $45. It was also suggested that if I wanted fuller lashes it would be another $30. All in all I'm back at $110 which I wasn't pleased since I feel like should've been done right the 1st time but whatever, it's another lash tech and she has nothing to do with this so I have no problem paying for her service. We set a time for Friday at 10am, I'm good with that. Today(3/18) I receive a call from Sherrie that my appointment has been canceled because the lash tech doesn't feel comfortable doing my lashes. I don't know what kind of picture was painted of me but I'm definitely not confrontational or rude especially while conducting business so why she would uncomfortable is beyond me. I was offered $20 for the removal credit to go toward another service such as teeth whitening, I declined said okay and hung up. I would honestly say as a new customer this was NOT a pleasant experience and what's sad I never leave reviews like this unless absolutely necessary. If you can't handle a displeased customer in a professional non aggressive manner then you shouldn't work in the service industry plain and simple. So lesson learned I will NEVER recommend Glam Smiles STL to anyone I know not because of the quality of work but because of the customer service alone. read more
