I had just purchased the car from a dealership about a month ago and never noticed it. What really impressed me was his honesty. He could have easily told me he repaired it and charged me the $89, but instead, he was completely upfront with me and didn't charge me anything for coming out, inspecting the windshield, or explaining the situation. He even took the time to show me how you can tell when a windshield ding has already been repaired. He showed me that when you tap on the repaired area, it sounds dull compared to the brighter sound around it.
