I barely tapped him. Gerber's quote was $5,000 with 24 hours of labor. The gentleman I hit took it to another reputable shop and was quoted $1,875. Gerber's quote had as much in labor. Even. the difference in aftermarket parts would not create such a disparity. The car needs a bumper and some brackets. My point to Gerber when I spoke with Ryan, the manager, was people don't need company's like Gerber milking them when it's hard enough to get by after 4 years of Bidenomics. If I could give this Glass America location on Bascomb Industrial in Woodstock Ga a zero I would. -…read more1 is not even deserved but the guy obviously didn't know what he was doing - the gasket around the window did not even connect and he bent part of my car that goes around the window and tried to say it was from normal wear and tear and tried to glue it down and taped it down - told not to remove for 24 hours which we did and on her way home the window obviously had leaks as it sounded like a window was down when it wasn't. she went through some rain on way home and it definitely was leaking and dripping on the inside of car. The place up in TN could not believe this work and is actually having to order parts and replace that piece of my car that goes around the window and was told that it would not have taken much for that window to just fall out. She drove home from GA with my 88 yo mother!!!!! They are lucky that didn't happen but dplease DO NOT USE the Bascomb Commercial location in Woodstock GA!!!!!! Also gave the guy a $20 tip cuz we didn't know about all this until we took the tape off after 24 hours. I think he should return that $20 tip as he does NOT deserve it!!!!!!
