Most…read morepathetic product and service we have received from Cameron Blinds, it may not even be a genuine Ziptrack product we were sold in the first place. Bunch of liars in the office denying the fact that they are responsible for the delayed install that took 6 visits and more than 2 weeks to be completed. After the install we had to keep requesting their install team to come out and fix different issues over and over again (at least 8 times in just 3 months). Now bragging about their 40 years of experience and blaming issue like wind and weather, which is of course a problem in Melbourne but products and services are designed and delivered to meet those issues and clients are properly informed on how to use the product and avoid these problems during such times. They think it's a joke to take clients hard earned money and then then ask to pay again for visits to fix the issues, not honoring the warranty. Very arrogant owner who has 0 manners or respect for suffering customers. We will take this to VCAT or anywhere else it needs to go to teach them a lesson and get our money back.

By mid January we still hadn't received a call about installation so I rang the 1800 number to find out what the delay was. The woman on the phone said they had an extra long break over Christmas and would be ready soon. Call again end of January and she tells me they will look in to it and get back to me so I wait for a call but nobody bothers calling back. A week later I call again and now she tells me this shutter has been a nightmare and should be ready in a week. Still nothing after a week so I call for the 4th time, once again she will look in to it and call me back but never does. I call back again a few days later and she tells me the shutter finally arrived from the factory a week ago and I should had received a call to organise installation. She said the guy will call me over the weekend, I wait until Saturday afternoon and call back the 1800 number only to be told by a very rude woman that it's Sunday and they aren't open weekends. Finally late on Sunday afternoon the guy calls to say he can install the shutter in the morning. He comes out and does a fantastic job installing the shutter but tells us we have to wait to receive a call from the electrician who will come out and finish the job. A few days later I call the 1800 number to let them know we still haven't heard from the electrician and they said they will look into it. 3 hours later the electrician calls to say they are waiting out the front. We rush home and they come inside and start drilling 3 huge 10mm holes into the timber panel feature wall. I hand them a box that the installation guy left behind and they say oh no this is a remote, we thought we were installing a different system that has a controller on the wall. That means they put 3 huge holes in the wall for nothing and they offer to cover it with a plastic light switch plate which looks awful but what other choice do we have. He said he can mount the remote control holder to the plate on the wall so it looks like it belongs there but when he opens the controller box there is no holder in there because someone has lost it! Now we have a silly looking plastic box on the wall and can't even attach the remote control to it! We will never recommend this company to anyone as the whole experience has been an absolute nightmare. Upon further investigation we discovered the factory who makes the shutters is actually located in China (I'm guessing that's why it takes so long) and this company also goes by the name ACA Home Improvements amongst other things. Please do yourself a favour and avoid them like the plauge!!!!

This company is Absolutely terrible to deal with. DO NOT do business with them, I was promised my…read moreshutters in 6 to 8 weeks it took them nearly 17 weeks, the installer came out alone and I had to spend half a day up on a ladder helping the installer FIT the shutters as he needed a second set of hands to hold them. After all this they provided me with the WRONG color (wasn't out by a huge amount was still grey, but the wrong grey) after all this I tried to come to a compromise with them as obviously I wished to have the shutters either re done in the right color to match everything else or some sort of discount for the much around, they offered a few hundred dollars off a $17,000 job. When I said that wasn't acceptable I wanted them to do something better they assumed I was trying to dodge the bill, were extremely rude and unprofessional, emailed me back and said they are removing the good will discount of a few hundred and if I didn't pay in 24 hours they would add a near $1800 late fee, I responded to them and said that wasn't acceptable I'm waiting for the general manager to come up with a fair middle ground instead I got send a new invoice with the $1800 fee added and the next morning was forwarded to E Collect a debt collection agency they use. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from what looks to be a good company. I will be pursuing this further, but in my honest opinion I would steer clear of these people. I have had shutters done on my two other houses and never had any issues like this before. I have also worked in the sales and building industry for well over a decade and have never seen a company treat its customers like this. They took $5400 deposit so they have some of the money and they will not come to a fair arrangement. To put it into perspective from memory I was only asking for approx another $1000 off the price of the total job to make it fair and Instead this is how I get treated.
