Two separate sections located inside the Amauris hotel. One part is a tasting menu restaurant and the other side is a bar and bistro. They're separated by a couple curtains and are all operated under the Amauris.
We started the evening at the Bar and Bistro. It has a sleek downtown feel that would fit in both the financial districts of New York and London. They're serving up all the classic cocktails plus some interesting regional wines. Service was attentive and appeasing.
After drinks, we meander across the lobby to the restaurant. It's a tasting menu restaurant. It was a seven course more plus a few extra snack courses. We had a bottle of sparkling Austrian wine to complement our meal. It was elegant. All the courses were rich and complex. The service was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Some of the best service we've had. It was the most expensive meal we've had at just over $300 per person. read more
